Snow everywhere but Edi (🥲) calls for soup: carrot turned tomato, I roasted some carrots, cherry tomatoes, and potatoes, before blending with some veg stock and adding coconut milk 🥥 it was at this point that I realised I’d made about one portion, so added some more stock, cream, and tomato paste. Finished it off with lots of chilli and ginger for immunity 😚✌️

Guys! We officially have a project coordinator for this years medics r***e🥳🥳🥳🥳but now the race is ON to find a production team to get this right of passage project underway!

The R***E 2025 TEAM needs:

MEDICS R***E TIME WOOO every year the fourth years produce the annual medics comedy show called ‘Medics R***e’ and now it’s your turn to take the mic! we’re looking for a team to produce this year’s show so if this sounds interesting to you, please sign up. It’s so much fun and I couldn’t recommend strongly enough how great it was to work with such a wonderful team. The top 5 nominees from each category will be shortlisted for the crown, and everyone will get a chance to vote on the finalists. The winners will be revealed at the Halfway Ball!

Hello everyone! Get your wallets ready, the halfway ball tickets will officially drop on the 9th of September at 7pm!!! Tickets are limited so be sure to act fast in order to secure one:) A link to the ticket forms - one for dinner tickets and one for after dinner tickets - will be posted in our instagram bio, and in the WhatsApp chat at 7pm on Monday. Once you have filled in the form, be sure to transfer the price of your ticket (dinner: £85, after dinner: £35) to the Fyc2027 account, details below, to secure your ticket.

Plus ones and non-medics are very welcome, you or they can simply fill in the form and select ‘Guest’.

If anybody has any concerns about paying the full amount just now please get in touch either via our instragm, or with our treasurers Anna Grieve and Onur Howie directly. We want as many people as possible to be able to celebrate making it this far and would hate to see financial concern holding people back!

Note: dinner tickets include the after dinner celebrations including ceilidh and dj. After dinner tickets are only for the ceilidh and dj and do not include the 3 course meal:)

Heyy yall!!
Welcome (back) to MBChB year 4 🥳🎉. In case induction hasn’t thrilled you enough already, we (FYC2027) are hosting a welcome event at DROPKICK MURPHYS, Cowgate on TUESDAY 13th AUGUST. We have booked out Dropkicks from 8PM so there will be lots of space to chill or boogie, everyone is welcome and we would love to see as many of you there as possible!! 🫶 It is free and no ticket is required, simply join us at Dropkicks from 8pm to rekindle with your colleagues 🤓, meet new friends, and let off some steam before placement starts:) Also, if you weren’t already convinced, h***y tonk line dancing will start at 9pm ! 🤠🤠
