As a professional development training organization based in the UK, we know the importance of sustainable practices in the workplace. This Earth Day, we're taking a moment to reflect on the ways we can all make a difference for our planet.
Here are a few simple ideas for how you can celebrate Earth Day at work:
๐ฟ Start a green team: Gather a group of like-minded colleagues and work together to implement eco-friendly initiatives in your workplace.
๐ฒ Bike to work: If you live close enough to your office, why not ditch the car and bike to work instead? Not only will you reduce your carbon footprint, but you'll also get some exercise in the process!
๐ฆ Reduce waste: Bring your own reusable water bottle and coffee cup to work, and try to pack your lunch in a reusable container instead of using single-use plastic.
At our organization, we're committed to reducing our environmental impact through initiatives like recycling programs, energy-efficient lighting, and encouraging staff to use public transportation or carpool whenever possible.
This Earth Day, let's all do our part to protect the planet we call home. ๐

Kate is a business owner, qualified coach, consultant, facilitator, trainer, podcaster, and public speaker, with a background in learning & development, employee engagement strategy, continuous improvement, communications, and marketing. Her passion for improving working relationships between roles and functions has seen her work across a range of industries, from automotive to education systems and the arts.

We are excited to announce our upcoming Women in Insurance Leadership Workshop taking place on June 13th, 2023! ๐
