In our recent survey a lot of people said they’d never been to an IRL event because they didn’t have anyone to go with. Although 85% of people turn up to pip social alone, we get it - it’s nerve wracking. 😱

So for every social we now have a buddy option. If you don’t want to come alone, we will do our best to match you with a mate in advance so you can give them a wee text and even meet for some dutch courage before the social starts 🍸

We are holding some fun wine tasting events in March with our wine tasting partner

Your ticket includes a full red and white tasting (a sober option is available), it’s also designed to be a “quiz style” tasting to get people chatting, no awkward moments 🍷. Cheers to that!

Sadly Edinburgh female tickets are sold out already so just pop your name on the waitlist in case of any future releases.

There was an awesome vibe at our musical bingo in Edinburgh, with our resident host Colin providing the fun! 100 Glasgow singles then joined us on Friday night for live music, icebreakers and prizes at Grosvenor cafe! We absolutely love hosting our socials, we’ve met so many amazing people, watched connections being made and always leave with that warm, fuzzy energy that in real life meets give you.

Sadly, however, we both work full time alongside pip and are very limited by hours in the day 😔 booo, we wish we could do it all. We want to bring pip social to more people, more socials, more cities, more event formats. But we can’t do this without you!

We firmly believe the best way to meet someone is IRL but we're also well aware that lots of you are still using the apps too (even if you are hating it!).

A few months ago, a friend of ours told us that he wasn't having much luck on the apps and wasn't sure what he was doing wrong 🤔

So, we took a look at his profile and thought the answer was obvious...it wasn't doing him justice AT ALL!! 🤦‍♀️

We immediately set about updating his pictures and changing his prompts, and as if by magic, matches started coming through!🧙‍♂️

Sometimes, you just need a fresh pair of eyes and a little bit of guidance to make sure you're selling your best authentic self.
