Happy Boxing Day folks, hope it’s been a restful one for you all.

Here’s a pic of a bridal bouquet for a Christmas Day elopement yesterday, a nice little break from all the green/red/gold/wreath content of December!

We are closed for another day tomorrow then back on 28th - 31st for all your Hogmanay flower needs. Just about to watch Gavin and Stacey, so I’ll see you then 🎄

🚨 However we’ll stop taking online orders through the website from Sunday 21st December - it’ll be walk-ins or orders by phone only after this date

✨Final delivery date before Christmas is 23rd December (no deliveries Christmas Eve)

💐 We expect to be extremely busy this Christmas so if you can, please pre-book your flowers and deliveries to avoid missing out

Someone sent me this photo of my beloved Granddad standing outside of his butchers shop which he had for more than 30 years in the Grassmarket in Edinburgh. (It’s now Mary’s Milk Bar!)

I thought it was funny timing as we had storm Bert snowing on Broughton Street most of the day yesterday and my Grandad’s name was Bert too. He was a big inspiration to me opening my shop, so maybe he was just checking in to see how it’s all going 🌸🥓 I can only hope Broughton Street Flowers will still be going strong in 30 years time! Miss you Bertie xx
