Gentle reminder to all members/non members attending the club:

Can all PayPal payments to the club be labelled up with details of what the payment is for please.

Example: race fee for 28/02/2025 and two pair of front tyres from club shop etc.

We are trying to keep it as easy as possible to keep track of everything but this needs everyone to help do this please.

Club annual membership fee: £30
Non member race fees for club night: £9
Member race fees for a club night: £6

In the club membership agreement everyone agreed to help set up and put away the track/equipment, tables and chairs. Please make sure you all do something to help make the club night go smoothly and contribute in a positive and helpful way, if everyone does a little, it makes sure other don’t have to do a lot.

Round 2 of the Scottish Regionals took place yesterday at Lothian RCCC.

There was some close racing throughout qualifying and all the finals.

Thanks to everyone who attended, also a big thanks to all who helped build and put away the track, this is greatly appreciated.

There were plenty of happy faces at the prize giving, so that’s always a good sign 😀👍🏻

Round 3 is in Dundee, so get booked in while the endorphins and adrenaline are still flowing from yesterday’s fabulous event.

Due to a red weather warning all community centres are closed in West Lothian.

The advice from Local and National Government is not to travel unless it is essential, the club is therefore cancelled for this week.

Our last club night of the year (Christmas Cracker) was a big success again this year, lots of chocolate handed out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each race. Each heat in every round was a race and starting order decided by turning over a paper cup with a number on it.

Some great close racing on our most open and flowing club track was enjoyed by all.

LothianRCCC committee would like to wish all our members, visiting racers, fellow clubs and fellow rc hobby enthusiasts a very Merry Christmas 🎅🏻

Only managed to take a few pictures last night, two of our members won some 3D printed prizes (made by our very our club committee member and racer Colin Leslie - contact him for any 3D printing parts).
There was another cracking David Simpson decorated body shell (Rudolph the red nose reindeer)
