With their closest family and friends journeying from the USA, this luxurious affair was a testament to their faith in Jesus Christ, adding profound meaning to every moment.

From Highland Games and archery to clay pigeon shooting and sumptuous Scottish feasts, the pre-wedding festivities were as unforgettable as the wedding day itself.

Alison & Duncan! Definitely one of the wildest weddings of the year so far 😂 I love how every detail was considered for maximum entertainment. They even had their very own bingo game that everyone engaged and laughing a lot. Throw in some LED glow sticks and the most wonderful Korean themed BBQ to ever grace this planet, and you truly have the ingredients of an unforgettable wedding.

I’m going to let the photos do the talking tot this next day preview 😉 I mean, it is Sunday, and I just delivered the most gigantic next-day sneak peek.

All I’m going to say is my list of favourite venues keeps on growing!! I’ve been in Scotland for several years now, and I’ve shot hundreds of weddings, but somehow I keep finding next gems that just blow my mind.

Winton Caste is one of those for sure! Lucky for me, I’ll be back there in a couple weeks for another beautiful wedding 🏰 🥳

When James & Fern booked me as their wedding photographer, I was excited to hear how they got engaged at this unique spot in the Trossachs… and it wasn’t long before we were formulating a plan to return there for an unforgettable photoshoot.

For me, couple sessions like this, are a collaboration of ideas. They are not just a chance to get to know each other before the wedding (although this is a great reason), they are also an excellent opportunity to express yourselves creatively… and to document this important time in your lives.

It’s often the journey of making that photo which makes it so special for me.

Every couple is so different, and I just love working together to create something truly unique… and truly you.

A new dawn rises for Stephen & Lacey, who travelled all the way from Texas 🇺🇸 to celebrate their love here in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Their 4.30am pre-wedding sunrise photoshoot, took place on Ballantrae beach, just a few moments from

I spent several days documenting their wedding extravaganza, which included various activities from Highland Games to Claypigeon shooting.

Their trip concluded with a jaw-droppingly beautiful wedding on the last day. I just cannot wait to share some photos and video in due course!

In other news, I’ve been incredible busy, which is why I’ve been a bit quiet on my socials. I’ve got so much to share, I really can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to.

Hey everyone! It’s just a quick one from me to say I’m back in the office working my way through the remaining edits from 2023. I’ll be looking to get all photo and videos edited by the end of Feb. I’ll also be sending out some USB’s. I’m taking a break from shooting in January and most of February to focus on edits.

This is just a reminder to say we’re fully booked on weekends between March and September. We are still taking on weekday elopements and intimate weddings - and there are a few weekends left from October to December so please do get in touch if you’d like to schedule an introductory chat 🫶

Last wedding of 2023 was an absolute belter! 🍾

Thanks to all my couples past and present! 2023 has been the busiest year of my life. We documented 70 weddings/elopements and so many couples sessions so it has been beautiful.

Thank you, very, very much for trusting me capture the most important day of your life!

Considering I only moved to Scotland just before the pandemic, I’m really proud of where we’ve come. I have big plans for the future and I can’t wait to see what we achieve this year!

One of things I’ve come to learn is that no couple is the same!

Some like portraits, others just want candid photos. Others are all about the funky group shots and some want all the tiny details captured in an artistic way. Some want fun and flowing prompts while others want classic striking poses.

Honestly, one of the biggest skills I’ve learned over my career as a wedding photographer is not just how to take a photo, it’s how to read and understand my couples needs and expectations.

For Laura and Ryan, we were there to capture it all on photo and film. A truly wonderful autumn wedding at the fabulous ❤️

Neil & Kimberley Pt2: For their post-wedding adventure session (yes that’s a mouthful😆), we had originally planned to hike up a hill in the Trossachs but… Scotland had it’s own idea 🌧️

Due to widespread flooding, we scoured the map to for a potentially dry location! This is how the rather romantic East coast became the perfect canvas for the final chapter of their wedding story.
