Dance Base is recruiting for permanent (part time) and casual Front of House positions at Dance Base currently. These roles provide the welcome that Dance Base is famous for (rated 4.9* on Google!).

To provide this welcome for everyone, our Front of House team should reflect the diversity of Scotland today. In particular Dance Base has made a commitment to providing more opportunities for Black people and people of colour, older people, young people under 26 and disabled people. As part of our efforts the whole team is reaching out to people like yourself, who would be able to spread the word about these opportunities to relevant people that you know.

Candidates don’t need to have experience of working in an arts venue, or any background in dance. We’re looking for people who have delivered great customer service in any environment – it’s a very transferable skill.

You’ll find full details of the vacancies available at https://www.dancebase.co.uk/about-us/work-for-us/ Our Bookings and Front of House Manager [email protected] will be happy to answer any questions that you or any prospective candidates may have.

Thanks for your help. A referral from you to a relevant candidate could make all the difference.

Best wishes

Jim

We will list vacancies and opportunities on this page and on our social media platforms so please check regularly for updates.

We are very proud that our current HN2 acting students are part of Lyceum Edinburgh next production. We can’t wait to see them and the rest of the cast of Two Sisters when this production opens next month!

🔹If you could say one thing to your teenage self, what would it be?🔷

Two Sisters is a story about who we were when we were 16, who we became when we grew up, and the gap between these expectations.

We're proud to say that students from Edinburgh College and Fife College will star in the play as our chorus, painting a picture of the universal excitements, anxieties, and changes that we go through in our teenage years.

🔹

Don't miss Two Sisters at The Lyceum.
