Itโs almost time for Halloween and weโre having lots of fun in the kitchen getting everything all ready for our spooktacular lunch and afternoon tea tomorrow ๐

Did you know itโs national chocolate week?
Little ones tend to love chocolate. And we love to find ways to include the delicious flavour of chocolate in our puddings without the ridiculously high refined sugar content.
Today the little ones are having cocoa and orange cake served with custard. We use dates and orange juice to sweeten the cake and the chocolate flavour comes from cocoa.

Many British seasonal vegetables that were destined for the food services industry are now going to waste as our schools, restaurants, hotels etc are closed. We want to help raise awareness for this and shift demand for our fabulous locally grown produce during this crisis in our food system.
Itโs June and so much veg is coming into season this month. Look out for asparagus, cucumbers, mushrooms, leafy salads, fresh peas and courgettes.
If you can, please choose British produce when youโre shopping for groceries.
