We have really lucked out with the weather recently!

Here are some tips to make sure you and your guests stay safe in the sun!

1) Stay hydrated. Dehydrated kids are overtired and irritable. Make sure you are stopping for a drink 😊

2) Apply sunscreen and have some extra ready for your guests to use.

3) Have a shaded spot. A gazebo or table parasols offer simple respite from the hot rays.

4) Our weather has been great but have a contingency in case it rains. Prep indoors for potential guests or use a gazebo for a party shelter.

Our first workshop with Lothian Children’s Deaf Club (LCDC). We were honoured to teach little scientists and be part of this amazing cause. The kids learned how to make slime, how sherbet gets its fizziness, and how to blow up a balloon with household ingredients! We threw in a fizzing volcano too….because why not?! 😂
