Chef Millar has worked in one, two, and three-star Michelin restaurants, including the iconic Alain Ducasse at the Hotel de Paris in Monaco. He recently represented Scotland at the Culinary Olympics and was a finalist at Scottish Chef of the Year in 2023.

We're pleased to announce our latest venture, Carlowrie Residences. We're taking the much-loved Carlowrie experience to private properties Scotland-wide!

Carlowrie Residences is a portfolio of stunning properties across Scotland, all of which are fully staffed by our Carlowrie-trained team to provide the very best of Scottish hospitality. Our third batch of Carlowrie whisky has just been delivered! 🥃✨

This 10 year old Single Highland Malt was specially selected for us from a single cask in a family-run Highland distillery to celebrate 10 years of events at Carlowrie Castle.

This is a one off, special edition limited to under 100 bottles. The spirit has been aged in American oak casks that gives the golden colour with tasting notes of creamy vanilla fudge and subtle spice.

Great as a wedding or anniversary gift for our Carlowrie couples. We would like to say it’s one to keep, but we've not been able to resist cracking our bottle open for a wee dram!

After the huge success of last year’s open day, we are delighted to offer another opportunity to visit Carlowrie to meet our team and Scotland’s finest wedding suppliers.
Normally by appointment only, this is a rare chance to experience the luxury castle and grounds, grab a glass of fizz, sample some of chef’s canapes, pick up a goodie bag from Harvey Nichols and mingle with our team and the cream of Scotland’s wedding talent.

A special moment planting the central tree in our new physic garden 🌱 Linking past with present, we were recently visited by the son of the former Carlowrie Castle head gardener, who lived on the estate with his parents until 1991. Together with our current Gardner Alex, and members of Isobel Wylie Hutchison's family, Ian helped us complete our physic garden with the planting of a lovely czar plum tree. A physic garden traditionally grows herbs used in medicine and cooking. Our garden honours the memory of Isobel Wylie Hutchison, the renowned botanist and Arctic explorer who grew up at Carlowrie Castle, and includes gorgeous herbs such as purple basil, chamomile, chocolate mint, and creeping thyme. The produce from our physic garden will be used by our award-winning chefs, bringing the freshest ingredients to our guests' tables. #herbgarden #carlowriecastle #isobelwyliehutchison #gardentotable #scottishgardens
