NEW ORGANIST: Dr Caroline Cradock has accepted the position as our Organist and Choirmaster, starting in October! 😀

Caroline writes: "I am greatly looking forward to taking up the position at Greyfriars. The organ is an amazingly versatile and rewarding instrument to play, and I look forward to working particularly closely with the choir, as well as the clergy and kirk session, to enhance the musical experience and participation of all who enter our church."

A wonderful service for the Kirking of the Captain this morning at Greyfriars Kirk and a big thank you to Reverend Richard Frazer and the congregation for such a warm welcome as ever.

Thank you too, to Edinburgh Lord Provost Robert Aldridge who presented Captain Jay Sturgeon with the City of Edinburgh Banner and requested that he return it to him, one week from today, unsullied and unstained, having checked that the marches of Edinburgh are in good order.

A momentous and emotional occasion as we are returning to the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches after a 3 year gap.

We are now setting off on our traditional Flodden Wall Walk - more photos to follow through the day!
