Built in the mid-1400s, Kilchurn Castle was a fortress, a comfortable residence and later a garrison stronghold. It remained the base of the mighty Campbells of Glenorchy for 150 years.

It also contains the oldest surviving barracks on the British mainland.

Stirling Castle - A great place to visit with lots to explore. The majority of the principal buildings date from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. A few structures are still standing from the fourteenth century, the outer defences fronting the town date from the early eighteenth century.

A 4min walk from Stirling Castle is the Old Town Cemetery.

The area was once upon a time used for Royal tournaments, sporting events, markets and horse fairs. It was also the site of the Jacobite batteries during the 1745 Rebellion.

Undoubtedly many interesting characters are laid to rest here.

Was there ever a more beautiful beast than the highland coo (cow)?

A very docile animal. Within their herds they show a great understanding of social hierarchy, meaning there's no need for tussles. They also enjoy the company of humans, often curiously approaching passerby's to say "helloooo"!

Take a walk on the 18th century paths at the Hermitage Woodland Walk in Dunkeld. You can visit Ossian's Hall of Mirrors and Ossian's Cave, both Georgian follies. There's also many beautiful Douglas-fir trees to admire.

The magical Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye. A geological wonder consisting of various conical hills. They look man made but are actually the remnants of an ancient landslip.

Do fairies exist? We'll have to head to the Fairy Glen to find out maybe. No objections here! Get me there now!

Are you an experienced Witch with a love for sharing your knowledge with visitors to the city!?

We are looking for a Tour Guide with a passion for the supernatural to guide our guests through a fascinating, fun and magical tour of Edinburgh City Centre. The tour will be appox 1.15 hrs long and run Friday - Sunday at 4:30pm and 7:00pm., with a maximum of 16 guests.

Written by our experienced team of writers the tour will celebrate and illuminate the rich history of Witches in the Capital and Scotland.

Previous tour guiding and/or acting experience and a passion for the world of Witches a must! Candidates must also be reliable and able to work on their own initiative.
