We are pleased to welcome Alasdair and Stuart to The Wee Folk Club. They are both solo artists, who also play in bands and for this gig they appear in their duo format. Expect some traditional songs, some covers and some of their own original songs.
Alasdair is a singer-songwriter whose recent EP was described as ‘exquisitely done’ by Mark Radcliffe on Radio 2. Stuart’s songs combine heartfelt lyrics, hooks and fluent guitar playing. Together they describe their music as folk, influenced by rock, soul, blues & classic pop……

We are delighted to welcome NAY Rental back to The Wee Folk Club.
NAY RENTAL are a folk-pop group from Edinburgh, comprising ADAM NAYLOR (guitars, “soaring” vocals), SCOTT RENTON (guitars, “grittier” vocals), JOANNE RENTON (fiddle, “purer” vocals) and CATHY ALBESON (imaginative percussion).
These musicians bring a wealth of experience playing in other bands to the sound that is Nay Rental. Their gig will contain traditional and more popular Scottish music together with a mixture of Adam and Scott's own songs.
