🍋‍🟩🧂INTERNATIONAL MARGARITA DAY 🧂🍋‍🟩

Of course our team are incredibly passionate about cocktails and the wider craft of bartending. However, if there was one cocktail…just one we could savour for the rest of our days it would be that blend of tequila, acid and sweet agave. We do em all ways (classic, Tommy’s (with the addition of agave nectar), spicy and even a lil watermelon number 🍉.

🎄THE ONES THAT DIDN’T MAKE THE CUT🎄

So, a confession, on Wednesday evening Ruth and ai came back armed with an array of cocktail ingredients looking forward to capturing some boujee images AND WE HAD A POWER CUT 😭😭🤣

However, we persevered. The light was a struggle but all in all we were happy with how the photos turned out. 📸 Here are a few of the behind the scenes/outtakes (mainly Slinky related 🐶🤣

🎄WINTER BRAMBLE🎄

By far and away our most popular Christmas serve this year. It seems the gin renaissance is still well and truly alive:

- 35 ml London Dry Gin
- 25 ml Lemon Juice
- 15 ml Winter Syrup (recipe on previous post)
- Drizzle Crème De Cassis

Method: Add Gin, Lemon Juice & Syrup to tin, shake and strain over crushed ice before drizzling cassis through the mixture.

Garnish ideas: Dehydrated Lemon/Cranberries/Blackberries

🎄SPICED APPLE PIE (0%)🎄

It’s the Sunday before Christmas and it feels like the last time u were sober Man City were winning football games. We get it, you don’t can’t face another cocktail (not right now). But let’s keep our drinks game strong over the festivities:

- 25 ml Cloudy Apple Juice
- 10 ml Cranberry Juice
- 25 ml Lemon Juice
- 15 ml Winter Syrup (we’ll need this tomorrow)
- Dash Ginger Beer

Add ingredients (other than ginger beer- no one wants an exploding shaker) to your tin, shake up and pour over ice before topping with fiery ginger beer. Enjoy!

Winter syrup:

250g sugar
150 ml water
5g Schwartz (Mixed Spice- available all major supermarkets)

🎄CLAUSMOPOLITAN🎄

- 35 ml Reyka Vodka
- 15 ml Cointreau (or Triple Sec)
- 25 ml Lime Juice
- 25 ml Cranberry Juice
- 12.5 ml Mulled Wine Syrup

Garnish Ideas: Orange Peel/Dehydrated Orange/ Cranberries

Reduce some mulled wine down with plenty of sugar, add it to the 90’s classic cosmo combo and you’ve have a full on festive flavour fiesta. We feel it’s giving Carrie Bradshaw stoating about the Manhattan Markets vibes 🤌🏼🎄🎅✨

Christmas is upon us and we are sharing one festive cocktail recipe each day for you to recreate at home with you and your loved ones over the holidays.

- 35 ml Bacardi Spiced
- 15 ml Xante Pear Cognac
- 25 ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 15 ml Rosemary Syrup

Shake it all up with plenty ice and pass it through the fine strainer; you’ve got yourself a CindyLouWho cocktail.

To celebrate the launch of our festive cocktail menu we are running a competition this week. The rules are as follows:

- Tag a friend and tell us which 3 of the above cocktails you would like to share with them to get festive this year. 🎅🎄

- You both must follow both the “DnH Craft Cocktails” & “Shake That Bartending” Instagram pages. 🍸

The winners will win:

- 8 of each cocktail premixed and hand delivered to them (with shakers, glasses and even garnishes too!)

- Festive snacks to enjoy with your cocktails

- £40 cash 💰

Winner will be drawn via random number generator and announced Sunday by 8pm.
