When it comes to the cost of wedding flowers. Part of it is someone else dealing with the stress of getting everything there in tip top condition. Never underestimate this. It takes time, some planning and also some faith! This comes down to me. I get your arrangements and displays there and set up and it isn't always easy. Obviously I've made this even more of a challenge for myself!!!

Fun fact.
Usually you see a pair of flower arrangements. These might be in a church, beside a fireplace, framing the ceremony area. They mirror each other and are usually the opposite design from the other, so if one has longer trailing tendrils on the right hand side then the other would have tendrils on the left, get me?
Well I can't do this haha. I've never been able to. My brain just won't let me flip the design and place the flowers another way. Just as well this time I'm the bride and not just the florist!

Had to finish my shift without my sidekick but that's 2000 stems cut and having a drink before I start putting them together for my wedding! First I'm making another couple of brides dreams come true this weekend with gorgeous flower choices, something a bit different as autumn is sneaking in!

The berry burst Christmas arrangement class!
Would you like to create this? Come along to Clochan Community Centre on Sunday 15th December 1-5pm and I will take you through each stage of putting this festive arrangement together. We will use festive foliage, berries, velvet roses and dried cinnamon all carefully placed around a candle, or without if you prefer. All materials included and I will even include warm mulled wine and mince pies!
£50.00 per person. Full payment secures your space.

In 11 days I will not only be the florist but also the bride! I'm taking full advantage of a wedding free weekend to do all my finishing touches. These wax seals have our initials and date on them and will be displayed on various items throughout the day. Its actually possible to buy these ready made but for once i didnt want perfection with a perfect circle. So 200 here we go! The lucky guy I've chosen to marry thinks I should become a wedding planner haha. Maybe on the 8th day of the week!

What does it mean to pay forward?
The simplest way to define “pay it forward” is that when someone does something for you, instead of paying that person back directly, you pass it on to another person instead.
So this is happening today. Yesterday someone thought of me. During their working day I came to mind and I received a gift. 4 ton of top soil haha, but we are landscaping the rest of the garden so it was actually perfect! I'm paying it forward. I only send out the freshest of flowers. These roses have been with me a bit too long for me to be happy sending them out in an order, so with a card explaining this they are away to someone this morning to enjoy for the next few days.
