An enchanting introduction to the world of music 🌍⭐

Joanna MacGregor took to the Haddo stage once again yesterday to introduce families and children to the world of music through her fun-filled interactive piano recital, Piano World.

It was a delightful afternoon of family-fun, and a fascinating insight into the world of music from one of the very best. A huge thank you to Joanna and everyone who made it down!

Last night the Haddo House Hall was filled with the wonderful sounds of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and Thea Musgrave's Black Tambourine, in a truly masterful performance by Haddo House Choral & Operatic Society.

A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone involved and to you all for coming down for what was a very special performance indeed ⭐

TOMORROW | 15 September 👋

It's the final day of the Haddo Arts Festival 2024 tomorrow, and we have a fantastic programme of live events to close.

Fresh from her mesmerising concert on Friday evening, Joanna MacGregor once again takes to the stage at 2pm to help introduce families and children to the wonderful world of classical music, in Piano World.

We also have an informal talk with the creators of Haddo Reimagined at 3:30pm, then our annual Festival service from 6pm in the Haddo Chapel, featuring members of the Haddo House Choral & Operatic Society 🌽

What a day! ⭐

Simply wonderful 👏⭐

We were honoured to have one of the world's most innovative musicians, Joanna MacGregor, perform live in the Haddo House Hall last night.

Her recital, inspired by birdsong, was an irresistible musical tour of baroque, jazz, classical and more. Thank you to Joanna and everyone for coming down and making it a truly unforgettable night!

WOW... 🤩

What an opening concert at Haddo House Chapel we had yesterday, with former Royal Harpist Alis Huws.

The Chapel was filled with the wonderful sounds of Claude Debussy, Benjamin Britten and more as Alis delighted us with her virtuosic playing, before sitting down to talk her life and music with Dr. Robert Lovie.

A huge thank you to Alis, Robert and everyone for coming down for a very special Haddo Arts Festival 2024 opener 👏

Rehearsals for the annual Haddo House Choral & Operatic Society's Christmas Concert restart tomorrow (2nd November) at 7:30pm in the Peatyards at Haddo.

Rehearsals restart this Thursday (2nd November) for our carol concerts which are to be held in Haddo House chapel. Rehearsals are in the peatyards at Haddo, starting at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come and sing with us at the loveliest time of year for choral singing. Music will be provided on the night if you wish to join us.
