Stretham Youth Centre Charity Shop will he open every weekend in August selling clothing , bric a brac, house hold items etc.
We will also be selling school uniform, so would be grateful for any donations of school uniform - primary or secondary, no longer needed, we will re home the uniform at a very cheap prices, with all profit going towards the running of the youth centre.

As well as holding our normal sale in the charity shop, we are giving many items away FREE after having a massive clear out.
All free items are in the gazebos outside and are available during the shop opening hours. Donations are welcome for the free items and can be placed in the letterbox.

Now it’s been confirmed that non essential shops can start reopening on April 12th. I am pleased to be able to confirm that the charity shop will re open with a mega clearance sale on Saturday April 17th. We need to clear loads of stock to make way for all of the lovely donations we got in during lockdown.

100s of books DVDs and cds will be on sale outside the Youth Centre tomorrow as from 10am onwards, 20p each or 6 for £1 please put money in the post box and please respect social distancing

The Strethem Funky Scrub Makers are busy making scrubs for our local GP surgery and could do with some more material - donations of duvet covers or bed sheets made from cotton or poly cotton,that can be washed at 60 degrees, is ideal. The brighter the better. If you have some you can donate please leave at 17 Berry Close or pm for collection. Experienced sewers/seamstresses also welcome to join the team.
The scrub makers will also be making masks, that will be available as from next weekend - £2 for and adult mask £1 for a child's mask all proceeds going to the NHS Together fund. They will be available from Stretham Stores and the doorsteps of 17 Berry Green and 17 Berry Close.

The Parish Council and St James Church are working together to get prescriptions from the surgery in Haddenham to door steps starting from next week.

As from immediate effect all clubs and projects at the youth centre, including the charity shop, are suspended until after Easter.

I am sure this will come as no surprise after the governments announcements today. Its is very clear that we come under the heading of unnecessary social gathering so shutting is the only sensible option.
