Bert’s garden is looking tidy now with the addition of some splashes of colour. Keep an eye out for those spring bulbs making an appearance next year. Special thanks to Lyla and Lauren who planted a sack of bulbs for us to enjoy.

We are doing an autumn tidy up of Bert’s garden tomorrow Sunday 5th October at 1pm. Also planting some winter colour and more bulbs. If you’re around and would like to come and help out we would appreciate some more hands. 🌷💐🪻any donations also welcome.

Wow the village was buzzing today. Many thanks to those who booked stalls. Annie’s bacon rolls were a hit and the cakes, teas and coffee went down a treat too. The weather was perfect aswell.

As requested, the Yard Sale will be bought to you again this year. This is a Feast Committee and Village Hall event with a limited number of spaces in the hall itself.

We have noticed two stunning heavy pots containing lovely conifers in Berts Garden. Would whoever placed them there please let us know and advise if they have been donated or are just on holiday. The watering crew will keep them hydrated along with the rest. 🤣

The feast committee would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us this year with our main event.

We have made an amazing profit of £2000 which is awesome.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
Please stay hydrated, drinking water will be available in the village hall along with stunning cakes, teas, squash and coffees. The Sports and Social Club is open with air conditioning and we have gazebos going up for relaxing and sheltering from the sun.

Just a reminder that the competition entries can be delivered to the village hall from 10 am - 12 on Saturday. Photos and pictures to be printed out and there will be submission forms to complete on arrival.
