Sun is out and so is the Happy Hill Kitchen. This weekend we'll be at:

📍Sat 20th July - Leigh Flower Show & Fair RH2 8NP 12pm – 5pm

📍Sun 21st July – 11am-3pm

We'll have Curry Mutton, Mango Chicken and Dhal (vg) rice bowls as well as Tamarind Pulled Pork, Butter Milk Fried Chicken and Spinach and Sweet Potato Tacos (vg).

Very excited to be bringing the Happy Hill Kitchen to our home town of Claygate for the this Saturday 13th July from 1.30pm. Come join all the fun on the Claygate Recreation Ground KT10 0JP.

We'll then be back the following evening to bring our food to the fabulous Gig on the Rec, headlined this year by the Abba Reunion Tribute Show.

We're serving up anew edition to the menu today at the today: sweet potato, pumpkin and spinach fritters in a roti wrap with a jalapeno, coriander and coconut sauce. 🌯😋

Our hearts go out to the beautiful Islands of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique who are recovering after the devasting force of hurricane beryl.

Thankfully the family home in Happy Hill St. Georges has suffered minimal damage, but it's devastating to see the level of destruction in Carriacou, my Dad's home island.

Well be donating proceeds taken over the next week of trading to the recovery drive set up here in the UK. Its a small part of what will be a long period of rebuilding and renewal across the islands.

But, from what footage we've seen and communication we've had over the last couple of days, you can't break the spirit of Grenada and its people. Small Islands, Big Personality. Love and thoughts extended to all. 🇬🇩💚💛❤️🇬🇩🙏🏾🙏🏻

Hello! Find us tomorrow back in Surbiton where we'll be hanging out with the for The Mini Moments Festival! This will be a day full of celebrations & family fun, Mini history, Live Music, Mini cars and a 'Mini Monte' drive through local streets. On the menu with be Roti Wraps, Roast Corn, Wings & Homemade Sauces and of course our locally famous !

We've just about recuperated from a fabulous couple days popping up the kitchen! Very busy, and not helped with Mrs Happy Hill loosing her voice and feeling a little off, but great crowds and in Chersey despite the May Day rain!

So trying get strong again 🤒and be ready to visit our old stomping grounds for a fab day !!!

We're back at Egham market tomorrow (Sat 6th April) 🎊

Join us on Egham High Street from 10am to 4pm along with tons of other great traders.

On the menu will be our rice bowls 🍛 with a choice of:

* Curry Mutton
* Mango & Coconut Chicken
* Chickpea Curry (vg)

All served with plantain and pigeon pea and pineapple salsa.

We'll also be serving Doubles (fried flatbreads with channa and chutneys) and will also have some of our famous Scotch Bonnet Scotch Eggs 🥚🌶️

Going to be a little quiet at HHK headquarters over the next few weeks as I recover from a little hand surgery! BUT, this gives us time to prep some new exciting recipie ideas in time for our return at the end of March, when we're back down the farm !! Thank you for all the well wishes 🙏🏾💚

There'll be loads of great stalls to browse and treats to eat. We'll be doing a Trini 🇹🇹 staple 'Doubles' - fried flat breads with chickpea channa and chutneys. Plus rice bowls and wings. 🍛🍗

After a great event last Friday with Xmas party, we have another jam packed weekend coming up for Happy Hill Kitchen 🎅🏿☃️🎄

We're doing a Christmas School event in Epsom on Friday and then you'll find us at:

❄️ Sat 2nd Dec Xmas Fair from 12pm - 5pm

⭐ Sun 3rd Dec in Thames Ditton High Street from 3pm-7pm for a Xmas Fair and the lights switch on

We'll have lots of warming food to keep you going as the cold nights draw in and the party season gets going.

We've just about caught our breath after the ceremony on Monday. We had such an amazing time and met many other wonderful people. A big thank you to Dawn Burton and Marsha Barnett for putting together such a fabulous event.

We'll next be setting up our award winng kitchen 😊 this Saturday evening (4th November) for the 🎆 in Woking Park. Doors open at 5.30pm with the fireworks at 7.30pm. Along with lots of great food and drink there will also be a funfair. I'm at it again and will be taking part in the 100 squats a day challenge! Yes... 🤦🏾

Your support and donations (sympathetic thoughts!) for me and my knees will guide and push through the month. But lets remember, no amount of discomfort, struggle or pain I'm putting myself through is comparable to those, dear to my heart and further afield who live with cancer.

First up, adding spice to your Saturday from 12pm we're heading to The for The Chilli Fest where we'll of course be serving up our original Scotch Bonnet Scotch Eggs, Buttermilk Wings in our spiced cornmeal coating smothered in a homemade sauce of your choice. Plus, we'll have little pots of our Scotch Bonnet Sweetness Chilli Jam for you to buy, take home and enjoy as you please! 😋 Yeah man! 🌶🔥🇬🇩

Sunday, highlight of the year, The 's is taking place, and after the event has finished, come and find us in Claremont Gardens where we'll be serving up some apres ski delights alongside the , bar and live music! 1pm - 4.30pm
