THE EWELL VILLAGE ADVENT CALENDAR
Based on the original hunt organised by St Mary’s Church, Ewell Village Traders’ Association and 1st Ewell Village Brownies the Ewell Advent Calendar is back! A bit of Ewelltide fun and for a chance to win one of three sweetie prizes generously donated by All Things Nice, solve the puzzle by visiting each of the 24 locations listed to find the missing letters of
a festive phrase. Created by 1st Ewell Village (St Mary's) Brownies, all the 24 letters and corresponding numbers will be displayed (either outside or inside) all locations from 1st December until entries close at 4.30pm on Christmas Eve. Complete the Google form with your/your child's details. Please include an email address or telephone number so we can let you know if you're a winner.
2. Select each letter you've found at the corresponding location number from the drop-down menu.
3. Combine the letters to discover the festive phrase.
4. Make a note of the phrase at the bottom of the form.
5. That's it! Hit submit
If you're unable to enter via the Google form, please email your name, age and your phrase to: [email protected]
All correct submissions will be entered into the prize draw, with three winners drawn live on Instagram by Phoebe (age 5) at 5pm on Christmas Eve. Our 20th location is our newest restaurant in the village NTUNETTA PIZZERIA which can be found at 36 High Street.
You can’t buy happiness but you can buy pizza and that’s kinda the same thing! - I’ll go with that and can definitely say that this pizzeria has been a massive hit with our family.
Such delightful owners, Barbara and Giuseppe and the pizza speaks for itself so if you haven’t already (and you like pizza) do give it a try.

You are warmly invited to come to Christ Church Ewell’s All Age Family Carol Service by Candlelight at 4pm on Sunday afternoon 19th December!
Included will be carols, video, dramas, poem, short talk, simple craft, mulled wine and mince pies plus there will be an overflow room set up and an area for small children.

Here we are at our 18th location, our community hall, ⭐️GLYN HALL⭐️
The closure of Glyn Hall is not permanent but temporary.
At the last AGM five new trustees were appointed along with an existing trustee staying and the intention is to rebuild the hall with a provisional timescale of 18 months.
Glyn Hall is a community space so we will be looking to our community for consultation of ideas - please do follow Glyn Hall on Facebook for all the latest updates.

Buying foods packed in single-use plastic packaging means you pay and then throw away the packaging you bought the product in.
This implements you to dispose of an unnecessary single piece of plastic that only further adds to the landfills of plastic rotting away. Rotting plastic releases chemicals such as methane into the atmosphere that ultimately adds greenhouse gases and the increase of Global Warming.
As plastic material rots in landfills, chemicals leach out and leak down into the land grounds, polluting our soils and earth. The same ground farmers grow and produce our fruits and vegetables.
Plastic is cheap and safe for protecting foods but in the long run, it has disastrous and dangerous effects on the environment, to wildlife, the oceans and even ourselves.
Our goal is to achieve a plastic waste free environment by allowing consumers to dispose of BIODEGRADABLE and/or COMPOSTABLE packaging that doesn't allow them to contribute to plastic pollution.
