How much time did this display take? ...
Just this reel in real time... approx 1.5 hours.
BUT...
If you take into account all the preparation behind the scenes; ordering stock, blowing up all the balloons in various sizes, making the vinyl, loading the van, travel time (two round trips), unloading the van and putting the moongate together and taking it all down again...
Real answer: Approx 4.5 hours (at least).
And I'll be honest, this would have probably taken alot more time when I first started out... I can blow up balloons and get things done alot quicker than I used to... but that doesn't mean it's any less work. Every balloon display is different so how long it takes me does vary from job to job but I do love every minute... (when it's going well anyway 😆)
It is always so nice when people appreciate the work & creativity that goes into creating balloon displays though and compliment this to me 🥰 Makes it all worth it 🤍

Don't get me wrong I do love the set ups where I just go for it with no plan, but the perfectionist in me likes to plan ahead and I do really enjoy designing them first 🤷♀️ I only really do these for my own template so I know what I want to do and how many balloons I'm going to need to blow up! .. I think I've got that part down to a tee now 🤪

The truth is they just wouldn't look like this 🤍
Some people think a balloon is a balloon, they all look the same and that is all they are paying for when it comes to having a balloon display (to be honest I probably used to think the same) ...
Yes you are paying for the balloons (and other materials needed let's not forget) but NO they are not all the same. Cheap balloons pop easily, are see through and do not look professional, are a nightmare to tie together (causing sore, bleeding fingers) and just don't withhold the same things better quality balloons can, so they do not last.
You are paying for the BEST quality, eco-friendly balloons to be used in the most amazing colours, that LAST ages and look professional! We must not forget about the TIME that goes into it all! But that's for a whole other reel 😆
QUALITY over quantity always 🎈

2 flights of stairs with balloons & backdrop etc, a hot day, up and down a ladder with balloons flying and then trying to hang the sign with the wind blowing through 😆 ... and then back the next day to take it all down.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love what I do but not all is what it seems when you see the final product of anyones work. Hours of HARD work has gone into it and that is what you are paying for 🤍
Ps. Sorry for the appalling camera quality, taking pictures and videos is not my husbands strong point 🙈🤣
