Conducted a lovely wedding in a hotel complex in Torquay at the weekend. Emotional, fun and full of wedded bliss.

Remember you can get married anywhere , you don't have to be traditional but you still need to be joined in law if you want to be recognised as such.

I can marry you in a stone circle, on the beach, in the woods, dressed as vampires, stormtroopers or anime characters, in fact anything goes because it is YOUR day but just remember to sign off with a registrar either before or after the ceremony if you wish to be lawfully wedded.

Getting married in the summer is wonderful but Spring and Autumn bring different colours and tones. You can be even more creative with flowers and leaves for headbands, coronets and bouquets. The photos can look stunning too!

A name is a very important thing. So why not celebrate it! Babies or adults are both worthy of an upbeat ceremony and celebration!

A name is important. It's part of your story and others memories of you.
You can name a child with a ceremony without having to attach any religious aspect if you want to and the celebration can be anywhere , with anyone you choose. A loving celebratory day should be bespoke and what you can do on the day is limitless.
Mentors (Godparents) can make promises and also read poetry, sing or do something truly memorable on the day.
Your audience can join in and be part of it all and you can write your promises, with my help if needed, to read on the day or store in a promises box for when Baby is older. There is so much you can do!

Your wedding is about you and your personalities. So don't feel you have to compromise. If you want to marry in the woods, on a boat, in a stone circle, on a bus or even dressed as victorian or Star Wars just do it! A celebrant can run your ceremony practically anywhere and I am happy to be part of whatever creative ideas you have.

Why not move away from what is expected and create a day from your own hopes and dreams!
