As we celebrate our successes in 2024 and look forward to 2025, we are delighted to be welcoming two fantastic additions to our senior management team in preparation for what is set to be our busiest year yet 💜

Cara Driscoll will be joining us as Resourcing Manager and will be looking after all rotas, resourcing requests and staff compliance.

Andy Palmer joins us as Business Development Director and will be taking the lead on identifying, securing and building new business opportunities as well as developing and ensuring the continuity of our current contracts.

Both Cara and Andy have been loyal members of the team over the last couple of years and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their respective roles.

We are honoured and feel incredibly privileged to have both of these industry professionals as part of our senior management team and know that their expertise and guidance will be invaluable as we continue to grow.

What a weekend we’ve had at Electric Bay Festival 2024! 😎

Our teams had a great time over the weekend and it was great to see lots of new faces as well as old. The commitment our team make to us, our clients, and each other really is something special and we thank them for holding themselves to such a high standard and working with such honesty, integrity, passion and loyalty each and every time they put on our uniform. The friendly approach and positivity really shines through and it’s something we’re so incredibly proud of 💜

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to the team from Torquay Police. 👮🏻‍♂️ Their job is not an easy one but despite having to manage several other events locally, they worked tirelessly to support us throughout the festival and really enabled us to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

“One team, one dream” 🤩

We are absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with our policing colleagues from Torquay Police 👮🏻‍♂️ to ensure we are able to facilitate a safe and secure environment for all who attend Electric Bay Festival. 😎

With a key focus on tackling anti-social behaviour and violence against women and girls, our teams will be working together to ensure high visibility and a proactive approach to these issues throughout the weekend. There is an excellent policing team for this event and we want to extend our thanks for all the support that they have given to us.

🤩 We’re Expanding! 🤩

After months of planning and preparations, our Managing Director, Chloe, has been busy completing all the relevant courses to enable her to become a qualified trainer and assessor! 👩🏽‍🎓

Launching in Autumn 2024, Emrys Training will offer high quality, progressive and immersive training and development opportunities to individuals interested in joining the private security industry.

We will be offering Qualifications such as:
- Door Supervisor Training
- Conflict Management
- Physical Intervention
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Mental Health First Aid
- First Response Emergency Care Level 3

As well as CPD sessions for our existing staff covering topics like:
- Legislation updates
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Leadership skills
- Conflict management
- Physical intervention
- Spiking awareness
- Recognising predatory behaviour
- Sexual assault awareness
- Drug and alcohol awareness
- And many more

Our people are our business, and it has always been our goal to invest in them as much as they invest in us. Offering these qualifications and CPD days to our staff free of charge, will enable us to further develop our already skilled workforce, ensure they feel confident in their abilities and show them there is room to grow and progress within our organisation.

We're looking for a full time (for the right candidate) door supervisor to look after one of our regular venues in Exeter City Centre.
You'll be an experienced security professional, ideally with a minimum of 1 years experience in the late night sector. Equivalent experience from the military, police, ambulance, prison service or other frontline services will also be considered.
Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor or CP license. Must be able to travel to and from central Exeter without a reliance on public transport. Full uniform provided.

2) Our operations team will be in touch to arrange an interview.
3) If successful at interview you'll complete some vetting be invited for a paid trial shift
4) You're on shift! Your development doesn't end there, we have plenty of training opportunities available for free accredited qualifications such as FREC 3 & 4
Rates begin at £16ph paid weekly.

Saturday saw us deploy a massive 120 staff to the fantastic Enchanted Garden Ball.

This was our biggest deployment to date and what a night it was. 🤩 The sun was shining, drinks were flowing and a lot of fun was had. Our teams had a great time and, as always, did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping everyone safe. 💜

A special thank you must go to our friends at Itus Event Support Services who worked with us to manage the transport, access and egress from site, as well as providing some assistance in the main arena during their quieter times. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you again and we cannot thank you enough for your part in delivering such a great team to this event.

The 2024 festival season is well and truly under way and we cannot wait to get stuck in! 🤩

Exeter Pride you were a blast! 🌈

We had the most amazing day on Saturday celebrating Pride with the people of Exeter. It was fantastic to see such an incredible display of diversity and inclusion in the heart of our city and we are honoured to have been a part of it. 💜

We supplied a highly skilled team of security and medical professionals alongside our friends at Specialist Medical Transport. And, as always, the staff did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping everyone safe so a big thank you to you all for your hard work 💜

Our senior management team were lucky enough to pay a visit to the beautiful Powderham Castle 🏰 this morning and after a great meeting are delighted to have been asked to provide security services for their in-house events. Exciting times ahead! 💜
