From the basic silhouette and fabrics through to the 60s inspired daisy embroidered trim.

Berni looking so chic and elegant at her daughter’s wedding in Italy. She commissioned a bespoke jumpsuit in sage silk crepe with a handmade corsage adorning one shoulder. We had such fun working together.

We cut out individual flowers from this beautiful printed silk crepe de chine. The motifs were then carefully hand sewn around the neckline. The same silk was used to line the coral pink coat. A beautiful outfit for a very elegant mother of the bride. The colours of the Cornish sea were top of her list of inspirations when Sandra was planning her Cornish wedding. She wanted her bespoke dress to reflect this. We decided the beautiful, vibrant blue palette of this ombré print silk chiffon was perfect

Very inspired by all the floral themes .gala.2024 following “The Garden of Time” dress code. The theme referenced a J.G. Ballard story about a count who, threatened by an angry mob approaching his castle, cut a rose from his garden to slow down time until there were no flowers left. Dystopian but beautiful . This design however won’t destroy anything. The flowers are going to be made from fabric off cuts from the studio

Did you know that the original traditional colour for a wedding dress was blue, symbolising purity? This dress, “Air Blue” from the Couture Collection is made from palest blue silk organza, giving just a hint of colour in the folds and curls of the silk coils around the neckline.

A simple, draped column dress in creamy silk crepe satin. With a little lace jacket. This could be in delicate Chantilly lace in various shades of old rose. This 50s style dress features hundreds of silk rosettes made from silk off-cuts that the studio generates. From silk chiffon to duchess satin, in various shades of ivory and white. The bodice is made from antique lace edging, keeping the faded colour variations rather than bleaching them back to white.

Looking through the archives I found these lovely photos of Claudia and Josef on their wedding day on a remote Scottish Isle.
Claudia chose “Orchid” from the Couture Collection. The silk orchids adorning the front of the dress were made by .textile.milliner . We chose colours that perfectly complemented the gentle, but wild landscape.
