Marquee Staff Required for August (possible long term positions available)

We have work on both frame and traditional marquees throughout August at various festival sites both local and national. Accommodation is provided for national work.

Long hours with the opportunity to earn money in a short season - would suit those who like to work outside and are happy with physical work.

Experience and driving licence preferred but not necessary - rate of pay depending on experience.

DEVON COUNTY SHOW TO GO AHEAD AS PLANNED
The Organisers of the Devon County Show fully support the expected Government decision to delay the next phase of lockdown easing. Any action that prevents a spike in further Covid Virus cases is extremely welcome.

However the government’s decision will not affect the Devon County Show going ahead as planned on 2, 3, 4 July 2021. Agricultural Shows joined the list of permitted events many weeks ago, at stage 2 of lockdown easing, in recognition that they continue to remain low risk when it comes to Covid-19.

The Show organisers continue to forge ahead with the Show, whilst ensuring it is a Covid Secure event which will be staged predominantly outdoors. Social distancing will be managed by a team of Covid Marshalls brought in specially for the event.

HIP HIP HOORAY! 🥂🎉

How we’re feeling after Monday’s announcement, so happy to have some light at the end of the tunnel for our summer couples and fellow wedding industry suppliers!

We have spent the last couple of days busily contacting couples with upcoming weddings to confirm any postponements. Any couples waiting to be contacted to reschedule or book a tasting please bear with us, we will be getting in touch with you early next week to look at available dates for you, once restrictions allow us to provide this service again.

If you are a couple who has had to postpone their wedding and has lost their caterer in the process, please do get in touch by emailing us at [email protected]. We still have a few peak Saturday summer dates available in 2021 and 2022, so contact us ASAP to discuss availability and pricing.
