I am a fully qualified florist and have worked in the wedding industry as a florist forover 16 years. I still work as a freelance florist but have now put the skills I’ve learnt from my years as a florist into creating one off button and brooch bouquets from my home in Sunny Devon,

Yesterday was a perfect example of how I work when it looks like it might rain during your wedding ceremony. Like most couples, Marie and Steven had set their hearts on an outdoor ceremony, but all morning the lashing rain seemed to have other plans. I cannot remember ever getting that wet setting up for a wedding and there have been quite a few wet set ups. I created the outside arch arrangement as planned, and as a backup, I also made a smaller corner arrangement on the inside arch. It paid off when the rain passed just before the ceremony, and the couple could have their outdoor wedding after all. In over 200 weddings I have worked on at Tunnels Beaches, only three have had inside weddings due to weather, but it’s always good to have a wet weather plan. Great to work with

What a perfect day yesterday for the gorgeous @chelcieandgoldiegirl @rockbeare_manor_ a bright red and pink colour palette of roses, hydrangeas and peonies. I’ve never had a bride bring a chair to their wedding before but Chelcie’s hot pink chair finished the look off perfectly at the bottom of the staircase. I hope you had the most incredible day. Big shoutout to @evolvephotodevon for being the best florist assistant ❤️🩷
