I am a fully qualified florist and have worked in the wedding industry as a florist forover 16 years. I still work as a freelance florist but have now put the skills I’ve learnt from my years as a florist into creating one off button and brooch bouquets from my home in Sunny Devon,

Can we just take a minute to talk about artificial bouquets or silk/ faux/ fake/ everlasting whatever you would like to call them. Nowadays they aren’t shiny, plasticky or what your aunty had in a vase in her house. They are so realistic I often get brides tell me guests thought they were real and venues put them in vases of water thinking they are fresh bouquets. They are popular for destination weddings (just pop in your suitcase and know they won’t die in the heat) or for hay fever sufferers and couples who want something they can keep, you can chose artificial bouquets and buttonholes and then have fresh venue flowers to match too. I’m very fussy about the artificial flowers and foliage I use so you be sure they will look as good as the real thing. I post my artificial bouquets worldwide with most going to America and Asia one set of bouquets even went on a private jet to the Bahamas. Here are a few past bouquets.

I’m so behind on sharing weddings this year. There have been so many beautiful weddings and I can’t wait to share them all. For now here are some gorgeous photos took of the flowers from Bec’s and Mark’s wedding and the lovely email I received from them. I walked past Bec’s collecting her bouquet the day after their wedding and I heard her say “eeekkk i’m so excited to see my bouquet again” that made my week especially from a bride who wasn’t into flowers.

What a perfect day yesterday for the gorgeous @chelcieandgoldiegirl @rockbeare_manor_ a bright red and pink colour palette of roses, hydrangeas and peonies. I’ve never had a bride bring a chair to their wedding before but Chelcie’s hot pink chair finished the look off perfectly at the bottom of the staircase. I hope you had the most incredible day.
