On 16 November you’ll yet again find the church yard on Cowick Street transformed into a magical, twinkling hive of activity, with fabulous local traders selling their incredible wares, as well as entertainment and activities for all ages! It’s a community event *from* the community, *for* the community. We can’t wait!

Another hugely successful Winter Market on Saturday, the rain stayed away, thousands of you turned up to support all our amazing traders and to enjoy everything that was on offer. From fantastic music to spellbinding storytelling, joyful entertainment and creative workshops galore. There was so much to see and do.
I’d like to thank everyone involved in making this such a wonderful community event. All the hard work behind the scenes and thankyou. Massive thank you to everyone at the church for their continued support in hosting this fantastic event. We raised just over £500 to help them with funding ongoing repairs. And a MASSIVE thanks to my wonderful friends and family for helping on the day and to the wonderful group of women who volunteered their time on Saturday to come and help. You did an amazing job, we are forever grateful.

Get the date in your diary and rest assured we’ll be beavering away behind the scenes to bring you more fabulous market stalls, brilliant family entertainment, fun workshops and of course plenty of community spirit! It’s a cracker of an event in the lead up to Christmas. Just what you need to get the festive juices flowing! So get the date in the calendar and then you can forget all about it because let’s face it, it’s April and no one really wants to be thinking about Christmas quite yet 🤪

Well, what a brilliant day we had on Saturday. We loved seeing so many of you enjoying all the market had to offer. Now that the dust has settled we wanted to say a few thank yous. Firstly, a huge thank you to Reverend David, Reverend Sarah, Ian and all St Thomas Church for allowing us to use this lovely church and space. A huge thank you to Cartridges Law for being our main sponsors - we literally couldn't have done it without you! Thanks to Fraser & Wheeler Estate Agents for your sponsorship. Our event was so well supported by the brilliant air cadet stewards who helped the traders get set up and were welcoming you on the gate. What a brilliant bunch you were! We were really grateful to have Co Create Exeter on board this year who kindly gave their time (plus wood from coastal recycling) to bring their community brilliant 'big build' - how good was it?! Huge thanks to Elizabeth Score - Sea Glass Jewellery design/maker who kindly provided all the design for the market. THE HALL EXETER kindly shared the brilliant silent disco - thank you! Thank you to Global Harmony Choir Thanks to Montgomery nursery for the fab kids activity in the church hall, and to Steve McCracken Art with his brilliant art workshop.
