Can we talk for just a moment about canapés?

What I love most about them ishowlimitless they ate, in terms of flavour, structure and content! The only hard and fast rule (imho) is that you should be able to pick them up using only one hand (leaving the other free to hold your drink) and eat them in no more than a bite or two, at most.

Since they're individual bites, our canapés can be tailored to suit a whole host of tastes and specific dietary needs. Whether you love sweet or savoury (or both!), we can create the perfect selection for your party, with something to suit every guest.

Canapés are the ideal choice of catering for a whole host of events - think champagne receptions, launches and networking events, cocktail hour, pre-dinner speeches, drop-activities or any time when you want your guests to be free-ranging and able to mingle at their leisure.

How long does it take to set up afternoon tea? This is a question I get asked a lot. The answer depends on sooooooo many different things, for example:

How many people are we catering for? Is it a fully seated service or a buffet? What's the access like? Is there any parking? How far from the kitchen is the service area? Is there running water available? Plugs? How much prep space can we have? Are there any fridges? And so on, and so on...

The short answer is that I can set up a graze table for 20 people in 1-2 hours, but for 150 guests having a sit down afternoon tea we'll need a bigger team, and at least 4 hours, or ideally be able to come in and start setting tables the night before!. Obviously the food is the last thing that goes out, and there's a pretty narrow window between being super organised (by this I mean getting everything done ahead of time) and dry sandwiches!

Over 10 years of experience have taught us that every job is different and so our service is bespoke, which means we can tailor it to fit your party plan precisely. We want to get all the little details right, so that you and your guests can simply relax and enjoy the party 🥂

Goats cheese mousse with caramelised onion chutney and toasted hazelnuts.

These handmade canapés are just the ticket if you're hosting a drop-in party or drinks reception. They're easy to eat in just a bite or two, whilst chatting and enjoying a glass of wine or even a fabulous cocktail! Avoiding the need for cutlery, plates or seating plans, leaving you free to circulate and enjoy the party.

Stuffed dates - a natural, sweet delight that we make without dairy or gluten so everyone can enjoy them. Filled with marzipan, almonds or walnuts or any kind of nut butter they're also fabulous dipped in extra dark chocolate for that super luxurious feel.
