Managed by local brain injury charity, Headway Devon, the XCentre is a perfect venue for running courses, meetings and events. What's more all profits from rentals will be used to support the on-going survival of this fantastic historic space and Headway Devon’s services for local people with disabilities. The XCentre is an impressive building, located on Exeter’s prestigious Quayside. Originally
built in 1740 as a wool-drying shed, the centre is a central part of Exeter’s trade history and was sympathetically converted into a learning skills centre. With a range of training spaces, flexible layout and central location, the XCentre could be the perfect venue for your next event. The centre is able to offer exceptional resources for trainers and course leaders, including a fully-fitted kitchen, a flexible IT suite with laptops and desktop workstations, Wi-Fi, a range of projector and display options, and an interactive whiteboard. The main spaces for hire are our airy conference room, with impressive vaulted ceiling and original beams, which seats up to 70 delegates in theatre-style configuration; and a pleasant ground floor room able to accommodate smaller meetings of up to 20 people. The XCentre is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, and appointments are available to take a look at the rooms ahead of making a booking. The centre is available to book for full days, half days or evenings, and is also available at weekends and on Bank Holidays. Prices can vary, but the standard rates for bookings are £147 for a full day in our conference room and £74 for half a day, or £120 for a full day in the downstairs meeting room and £60 for a half day. The whole centre can be booked for a cost of £250 per full day.
