I get asked lots of questions about our staging here at Wingfield Barns - it’s a Gopak Ultralite and is absolutely perfect for our requirements. I can build it myself, as you can see, and it stores flat packed when not in use. It can take a bit of jiggery pokery to get it to line up properly on our floor tiles, but I always get there in the end!
Small but perfectly formed. We had a select few attending our workshop and dance with Bof! yesterday evening, but what a lovely evening it was. Look at those happy faces and dancing feet. So good to be hosting dance events again 💃🏻

It’s been a bit of a fraught wait if we’re completely honest, and with the prints not arriving until 1.30pm today ahead of the 6pm private view, I think we can all agree they were cutting it a bit fine.
Anyway, French customs back logs and nail-biting tracking updates aside… they’re here! Private view tonight 6-8pm and open Saturday 31st July to Sunday 5th September, Weds to Sun 11am-4pm in Gallery 2.

Our resident Green Woodpecker chick is being rather demanding this morning… *sound on* to hear the commotion.
Determined to make the most of this enforced downtime, we’ve been having a good old Spring clean in the Great Barn over the last few days. This industrial floor cleaner is a bit of an animal to manhandle... I’m glad the time lapse version doesn’t make it look like I was struggling as much as I was! Anyway, polish going on... nearly there.
