From Festive fun 🎄🤶to some Fourth Birthday Fun 🎁🎂, Fantastical Faces had a Fantabulous time last weekend painting faces across Falkirk (well Banockburn and Brightons but they don’t sound as good as they don’t start with F 😂).

🎉Last weekend Fantastical Faces 🎨had the pleasure of being a part of both Ben and Luci’s birthday parties, where even the adults joined in on the fun 💃 (that’s Luci’s Gran who bossed it up with a unicorn on her cheek 🦄🥰)!
After that it was all about the holly wreaths and snowmen at the Willow & Wysteria Christmas Fayre 🧑‍🎄 where we had our youngest customer yet, a gorgeous wee bubs who sat so well and watched me paint a snowman on her arm. ☃️ What a fab, fun weekend🥳 x

Fantastical Faces had a fantastical time being a part of Albi’s 2nd birthday party this weekend🎨🥳 Here are a few snaps from the day and the beforehand prep (My parents escaped from the attic to get some bread and water and I captured them to do some pre party practise🖌🎨 😂 Mum and Dad you guys are a true legends 🥰)
The kids were all loving Peppa Pig at the party and one wee one who wasn’t even yet 2years old sat so amazingly still and even came back for a second arm design (a great alternative to having cheek designs for the littlies as they can watch it being done and it’s less ticklish).

🤪 Funny Friday post 🤡🎨

Happy Friday everyone😁 Apologies for being a bit quiet on here, I have been enjoying some family time🥰 But today I am excited to be back doing some more face (or should I say leg!) painting in preparation for a transport & construction themed 2nd birthday party this weekend 🎉🥳 I have also just bought some snazzy new brushes and have been excited to try them out🖌

So as you know by now my poor family have been attacked by me with a brush wherever they go *picture me perched outside the bathroom with my loaded paint brush ready to strike👩‍🎨(I’m still trying to persuade my dear father to allow me to upload the photo of his face painted as Minnie Mouse but for some reason he just ain’t all that keen 🤷‍♀️😂)

Anyways, given that they are all currently cowering away from me in the attic as I type this, I was left with no other option but to practise on myself. And well this is the result…
Thank goodness it’s the one day of the year in Scotland when it’s sunny and I can wear shorts!☀️🕶
And you told me when I was young that I couldn’t be a leg model Mum!Pfftt!🦵💃

Some more recent face painting designs🤡
Being newer to the face painting scene I have taken up any opportunity to try out my designs. The kids that I know have been absolutely loving this, clambering over each other to get their face painted first🎨🖌
The adults on the other hand - well, come to think of it a lot of my friends and family have cancelled plans with me recently as they have been “washing their hair” (and that’s even the bald ones👨‍🦲!) or else I have found them hiding in cupboards and drawers, quivering like wrecks🤔 Well unfortunately for my mum and sis you were both too slow getting away from me on these face painting days, better luck next time 🚴🏽‍♂️

🎉🤪Some Friday Fun💃
As promised I said I’d tell you about that time my dear mumma went to Aldi with her face painted as a dog so ladies and gents, boys and girls grab your popcorn and let’s get comfy….
Needing a canvas to practise on, Mother Face Painter volunteered herself as tribute ( ). I did my magic and *poof*🪄into a dog she transformed. “Oh I just remembered, I need to go get some loo roll and capers from Aldi”, she said looking up from her phone as she sat texting a selfie to her friend. Just then, she said with a cheeky smirk, “I’ve been dared by Lilias to go to Aldi as a dog”. There was no stopping her, out the door like a greyhound to a hare she went, gathering momentum as her drawn on ears flapped in the wind.
Fifteen minutes later she returned with loo roll and capers firmly in tow, entering through the door to share with Father Face Painter and I that she had had nearly caused a four car pile up at the Aldi roundabout! Said near miss happened as a result of multiple drivers rubber necking to watch her as she drove by (can you imagine those police reports!👮🏼‍♂️😂).
Inside Aldi, she told us that multiple people had come up to her and, after firstly checking to see that she was indeed sane and okay, they just stood in front of her, shone their pearly whites 😁and said “Good on you hen”. (For anyone outside of Scotland reading this, no a hen isn’t of the bird variety🐔 it’s of the Scottish lady variety👩). And because it hasn’t happened unless you’ve got a pic, she asked a kind passer by to take her picture as she posed with her trolley like Kate Moss on the cover of Vogue💃
Moral of the story mums and dads, aunts and uncles, grandads and grans you are never to old for a face paint, and you never know, you may just make someone’s day (or else cause them to lose their no claims bonus but hey life’s a gamble right🤷‍♀️)

Another great event last weekend in Brighton’s community hall raising money for Syngenta Football Club⚽️.The kids, as always, were wonderful and we even had some parents get in on the action and get their faces painted too 🐈 (unfortunately no photo evidence but it did happen, I swear!😁)

My name is Sarah and I am a face painter living in the Falkirk area. I have recently started up this business and I am excited to share it with you and to become your face painting fairy godmother 🪄

Through this page and my instagram page (.FacePainting) I will share some of my recent work & events (and also some additional face painting fun - like that time I painted my Mum’s face as a dog for practise and she stopped all the traffic and shoppers on her way to Aldi!🤦‍♀️😂). I mean if we can’t have some fun in this crazy 🌎 what’s the point right?
