Thank you for another successful dinner dance!
98 people all fed, watered and looking like they are having a good time.. That's what we like to see..
Myself (Pippa) and Jo spoke to a few of you as we were leaving and the feedback we had about the food was amazing. We appreciate all your kind words and for always continuing to support our functions.
Lauren had quite a few of you up on the dance floor and you all looked fabulous and sparkly tonight!

As our last function for 2024 we'd just like to say thank you again, your continued support and custom is more appreciated than you could ever know, we love nothing more than making you all happy when it comes to feeding you and providing entertainment once a month.

Keep an eye out for the next function in 2025..we have a few planned.

Don't forget it's also Christmas lunches now too! Every Sunday until the 22nd is Christmas pre-order only and during the weekdays we are running our usual weekday menu but also have space for Christmas pre-order lunches. Get booked in to avoid disappointment!

One week to go!

Well, almost anyway...

Just a reminder that we will be starting our Christmas lunches slightly earlier this year if you haven't already seen our posters in the restaurant.

Our first Christmas Sunday lunch service will be 24th November, we have plenty of tables available just grab a menu and preorder if you wish to book!

All Sundays from 24th November through to 22nd December will be Christmas lunch pre-order only.

We will also be serving our normal lunch menu alongside Christmas lunches throughout the weekdays, just state which you'd prefer when making a reservation. We politely ask that if you wish to have a Christmas lunch with us then book in and pick up a pre-order sheet to fill in. We like to have your pre-order and guest list sheet back the week before your booked date please.

If you have a group booking of 10 or more then we will require a non-refundable deposit of £5 per person payable prior to your lunch date.

Any questions or queries please don't hesitate to contact us or pop in to the restaurant. We are more than happy to assist you and make your booking as easy as possible.

Thank you all so much for your continued support, we have sold out for the upcoming dinner dance function!

We are absolutely blown away by the amount of interest we had and we can now safely say we have sold all 100 tickets!
You are incredible, thank you so much for supporting this little family run business and allowing us the opportunity to throw such functions..

⚠️⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE! ⚠️⚠️

If you have tickets reserved on our list in the kitchen could you please pay for them at the bar and bring your receipt round to the ladies in the restaurant and collect your tickets, we have alot of tickets put by and are selling out quickly. We really don't want anyone to miss out. Deadline for reserved tickets to be paid for will be Tuesday morning at the very latest.

Tickets can be purchased at the bar.

Once you've got your tickets we then ask that you get your menu choices in by 23rd November at the latest.. Thank you.

Another function I hear you say!?

Join us on Saturday 30th November for our last DJC Catering function of 2024!

6pm for 6:30pm sit down, a three course meal followed by tea or coffee and mints and Christmas crackers on the table. Lauren Potter will be our new guest act for the evening.

Tickets will be available to purchase from the bar this week, keep your receipt, take it round to the restaurant ladies and they will book you in and take your food order. It's as simple as that!

£23.50 for members
£24.50 for non-members

We can't thank you enough for your support throughout the year, whether it be coming in for lunch or bringing in a group of friends to a function, it all helps this small family run business and not to mention we just love all of our customers, you're all like friends rather than guests.

Another successful evening function hosted by us and held at our home of Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club.

Thank you all for your continued support and custom. It was nice to see some new faces join us but also our regular guests again..

We hope you all enjoyed the evening, from what we could hear of the entertainment, Yana, she was very good. Glad to see you all strut your stuff on the dance floor too 💃🪩🕺

Well now that's out the way, here's to the next function...

Menu is up, preorders are being taken so pop round and book your table in when picking up your tickets. If you have purchased your tickets but not yet collected them from the restaurant please keep your receipt as this is your proof and we can add it to our records to keep track of who has paid. If you haven't yet given your food order to the kitchen we would like them in by September 28th at the latest please.

It's been a while..

The sun seems to now want to come out to play today. That's a shame.. But we have some good choices on our menu today.

We at DJC Catering pride ourselves on a great variety of products, whether that be homemade food in our restaurant to a selection of grazing boards and buffets.

The restaurant is available to hire and we can cater for hot or cold buffets on site.

Wedding?
Wake?
Afternoon tea?
Graze board?
Birthday party?
Retirement party?
Anniversary party? You can see where I'm going with this can't you.. We can cater for any event or special occasion you are hosting/organising.

If you require a fabulous spread at your desired location we can prepare your food and deliver locally or you can arrange to collect.

We have an extensive range of experience when it comes to preparing and bringing together everything for a function. Even a full afternoon tea for 50 plus people! We use fresh and local ingredients where possible and within the season.

If there is anything you would like specifically, just talk to us and we can accommodate as best we can.

Vegan? No problem. Gluten free? Diary free? Any dietary requirements are well and truly catered for, just tell us what you need when you are discussing menu options.

A reminder for our customers..

We will be closing on Monday 29th July for one week for our annual summer shutdown alongside Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club. We will reopen at 9am on Monday 5th August.

We are giving our team a well deserved rest before the indoor bowling season starts again and we welcome everyone back from outdoor bowls.

If you have any enquiries or like to make any bookings whilst we are away from the restaurant, you can leave a message on our answer machine or alternatively you can email Debbie; [email protected]

Tickets are still on sale for our upcoming October function but they are selling quickly. We would advise to get them purchased and table booked as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

But remember, we are open Sunday through to Friday 9am to 2pm and welcome anyone and everyone, including children (and non-members with a member) 😊

You can tell it's almost the summer holidays, the weather can't make up its mind today 😂

So, with that in mind why don't you come down for lunch. There's some lovely selection of dishes and our star baker has been baking a luscious lemon drizzle cake again.. And I can confirm it's really delicious 😍

Monday's Menu..

Happy summer holidays! Well for some already, I know a few of us still have children at school for a couple of days yet..
But those of you with children/grandchildren already off, why don't you bring them in and treat the family to lunch. We're a family friendly restaurant and welcome any age 😀

We have a wide selection of dishes today and I heard rumour that the banana-biscoff sponge pudding is really good too 😉

We're open until 2pm and have plenty of tables available.

Happy Thursday folks..

We've got some lovely dishes on today..

And our star baker has been at it again. Homemade Lemon Drizzle cake 😍😍 my favourite, especially when our Lozza makes it, she does a mean lemon drizzle 😋😋 You have to be quick though, it'll sell out. Available on the counter today.

I see there is a big yellow thing in the sky again, so while you're out and about why not pop in for a bite to eat and a chitchat with our team, they love to see you all 😊
