If you are looking for a Photographer that is down to earth, laid back and lives outside of the box (metaphorically speaking) then welcome, My name is Scott and I am a Hampshire based Wedding Photographer and I shoot people, Normally on their Wedding Day! Whether you are a pair of natural performers who live on centre stage, or if you like to stay a little more grounded on the sofa with a Netflix

binge, I will always capture your day in the most natural and candid way by following and shooting the action all day long! Have you ever been to a wedding that took forever because you were waiting for the Photographer to set up their tripod, or telling you to shuffle an inch to your right and been left with jaw ache because you’ve had to hold that cheesy smile for an hour? It’s the worst right?!? My “style” follows a Documentary theme, I don’t get in the way of your day and I follow the action. I keep things fun and light by moving to every spot in the room to cover as much ground as possible (honestly, I’m likely to need a knee replacement before my mid thirties!) to capture your day from every possible angle. That tear in your Dad’s eye? Got it, The Bestman fell over whilst carrying five shots? Snapped it, Your wedding day start to finish? Completed it! So what do you get when you book me for your day? Firstly, You get my sparkling personality and my skill at working a camera for your day, not enough? Fine, my All-Inclusive Package covers pre and post wedding meetings, fuel (within 50 miles of Fareham! If you’re further a field get in touch!), Me (legal and fully insured!) for your day, bridal prep, ceremony, family formals, at least an hour worth of just Bride and Groom photoshoots, speeches, cake cutting, first dance, evening shindigs, a private and secure online gallery of all your images and the entire gallery available to download and use how you wish! I thought so! To push it further my top package comes with all of the day (and nights!) photos on a beautiful memory stick in an incredible wooden display box with a handful of beautiful archive quality prints, macro shots to capture all the little details throughout the day, an additional sunset session for the couple! That’s perfect! In order to set the wheels in motion, I need you to head here (scottmorey.co.uk/enquiries) and fill in my contact form. From there I will add your details and begin the process to book in a meeting, I always tell any clients, whether they book me or not, that you need to meet your Photographer because they are one of the few people that will be spending the whole day with you! If you don’t feel like you could sit down in a pub with them for half an hour, how can you stand an entire day with them! I will then put together a plan of your day from my end and usually collect a deposit for your day to set it in digital stone! Then, depending on how long until your day, I visit any and all venues to get accustomed to the staff and the buildings etc and then a few weeks before the day I tend to get back in touch to arrange another meeting just to get all excited about the day and any changes that may have popped up (trust me, it happens!)

You might think you don't really want bridal prep included in your package, and do you know what?

You're probably right.

Don't get me wrong, a huge part of every photographers role is "Sales", and trust me, I used to sell Life Insurance...If I can sell a piece of paper that you won't ever use yourself but will pay for it for the rest of your days...I can sell you bridal prep.

But chances are, you've made up your mind, and I am properly over my sales days, so if you don't want it, I'm not here to force it...

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted my own face.

Hey, the names Scott, I’m a wedding photographer…I also run a few other businesses with some close friends, I try and surround myself with like minded people so that I am always pushed to do more, to be more…

I have a 6 year old daughter and she is my world, she lights up my life (she took this photo!) and if there is one person who can push you to be more, it’s your own child! We are lucky enough to be surrounded with family, friends and my partner who support us to no end…

I have tattoos, I have stupid hair and I listen to music that will make you question if I’m mentally stable…but behind the facade of someone who looks like he should be an extra in sons of anarchy, I’m probably the most laid back photographer you’ll ever meet…

I’m all about capturing real moments, making real memories and most of all, making sure even if you hate the camera…that we will come away with some awesome photos!

I really struggled to get down to my top 12 of the year...so have my top 206 instead 😂 This year has bought some really interesting weddings! This year has seen me published, This year has gained me some new friends, But best of all it has given me some truly awesome memories! Thank you to all of you beautiful people for choosing to use me as your photographer and I really hope we can work together in the future! To all of my couples booked in over the next two years, hold on to your hats, because some exciting stuff is coming your way!

How many people can say they turn up to work and everyone is happy, with 100% certainty...Every. Single. Time. I love capturing the candid moments between you and your nearest and dearest...Telling your story in a way that leaves you with nothing but more smiles on your faces! Just have a little watch of this slideshow I put together for a recent Wedding...Its hard not to smile alone with everyone in these shots! Go on, try and tell me I don't have one of the best jobs in the world, I dare you!

So as 2021 comes to an end and we enter the unknown of 2022, I want to take a moment to reflect on this years Weddings. When 2021 began, I was genuinely nervous that I wasn't going to get to shoot many, if any, Weddings at all...In reality it has been one of my most successful years to date! This leaves me with a huge sense of accomplishment and preparedness for '22 rolling in... With many exciting developments and projects on the horizon, I am looking forward to being able to share more work with you all! In the mean time, I wanted to share some of my favourite shots from each of the Weddings that I can share on social media, If you made the cut, congratulations! If you didn't, there will be a much longer version of all of my favourite shots from the past six months of Weddings over on my Instagram! Lastly, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my couples and I hope that you all have an incredible New Year!

I think it is always super important to make sure you view a photographers work in its entirety to get a big picture of how they shoot a day from start to finish, because at the end of the day you are likely to be staring at their photos for the rest of your lives! Always make sure you can see a wide range in their portfolio!

Something I am looking at including in future packages is slideshows...Just saves clients having to do it themselves, also means no issues with music copyrights etc...but gives an awesome way to show friends and family a few highlights of your day without having to carry the whole album with you! Might want to drop your phone into landscape mode if you're wanting to watch it :) Something to consider....
