🤳 The very first selfie! 📸

Did you know that the first photographic portrait ever taken was a selfie?

In 1839 an amateur chemist and photography enthusiast from Philadelphia named Robert Cornelius, set up his camera at the back of the family store in Philadelphia.
Cornelius took the image by removing the lens cap and then running into frame where he sat for a minute before covering up the lens again.
On the back of the image he wrote "The first light Picture ever taken. 1839."

👨‍🚀🌕The Cameras That Captured the Moon’s Surface Are Still There!

When the Apollo 11 mission took off for the moon, they carried 12 Hasselblad cameras with them.

They are still there, on the moon!

The astronauts decided the cameras were too heavy for the return journey. So, they left them behind to make space for the 25 kilos of rock samples they brought back.
They did, however, bring the film back with them!🌛

🐾 Capturing Furry Friends 🐶

Pets make some of the best family photos, the qualities that allow them to wiggle their way into our hearts can also make them difficult to photograph!

As an owner of two dogs, I know instructions to animals can be hit and miss! So being armed with a toy and a treat works with plenty of patience and speed! As long as your pet feels happy the photography will remain natural for lovely images that capture their characters.
