So, I've now been living in Medinah, Saudi Arabia for about 10 days. Currently my family and I are still holed up in a hotel suite whilst we wait for our new villa to be ready. Its currently about 38°c during the day and we're having to live off takeaways mostly as the room has limited cooking facilities. Cost of living appears very cheap compared to UK prices, food especially.

Tickets are booked for Saudi Arabia for the 17th October. I will be moving for at least 3 years I suspect but will continue working out there for my UK based clients who only require digital work.

Big news. Myself and my family are moving to Saudi Arabia on or around the 17th October 2021 and we won't return to the UK for at least 3 years. I'm hoping to continue drawing from there but I'll only be taking orders that can be done digitally.

Taken my first wedding booking for the year on July 24th. Currently putting the finishing touches to a 20 group caricature for the NHS and I have a T-Shirt design in the pipeline. Work is finally looking up.

It's been a while since I posted but I finally have something positive to write. After about 2 months digging around for funds I'd lost hope and was worried I'd be another financial burden to my wife (who has always 'got my back' as she says). However, I am delighted to report that I have secured a government grant which will see me through the next few months after I applied for an 'Additional Restrictions Grant' from my local council. On top of this they've told me that any future payments would be made without the need for me to reapply. Needless to say this has given me huge relief.

The design process for dome horse feed packaging. It starts life as a basic sketch, then I outline it by hand using Indian Ink. I then scan it into my PC where I add colour before supplying it to the manufacturers for production.
