Lots of bouquets leaving the studio this week. This was a deluxe pastel florist choice bouquet in a Christmas gift box. It was bursting with pretty pink and purple flowers with a sprinkle of white agapanthus and wax flower (my favourite!). Can't believe we had the last wreath workshop for 2024 at the weekend! We had so much festive fun, and the ladies created some amazing wreaths! Bows have always been my nemasis, but after making so many these past couple of weeks, I think I've finally cracked making double bows! Easy when you know how 🤣🤣 A huge thank you to all the lovely ladies that came at the weekend 😘 Until next time!

Wow! What a fabulous day full of workshops yesterday! It was so much fun and as you can see these ladies created some AMAZING wreaths and table decorations! 😍 I love seeing how everyone creates their own unique designs. We enjoyed some festive music along with a little tipple and Christmas goodies. It was a joy and a privilege to watch them all having such a great time, thank you ladies. I am so excited to finally be able to share my installation at Laureate Fields. The brief was to keep it simple but elegant. So I went with a stunning fresh pine and conifer garland for the staircase. It smells so delicious, as soon as you open the door, you are greeted with this wonderful Christmas scent. I complimented it with these lovely Christmas bells and soft gold ribbons. I weaved soft lights throughout the garland, and it looks so magical when it gets dark and they are twinkling ✨️ And for the dining table, I made a matching table runner with pine and conifer weaving it across the centre amongst the candles. Lights twinkling, it's all set for a cosy Christmas celebration. Not to forget the outside, I created two festive wreaths to adorn the doors. One was a more traditional spruce wreath decorated with colourful dried fruits, cinnamon sticks, and lotus heads. The other is more of a wilder wreath, full of different foliage such as bay, yew, berried ivy, pittisporum, buxus, and a touch of cypress blue.
