-------------------------------------------------------------
My name is Prriyanka and my passion is creating nourishing meals for myself and to share with the surrounding community. My relationship with creating nourishing food has always been deeply soulful! I want to share this special bond with you; opening up my heart and inspiring my hands to
create wholesome meals. I offer my handmade and freshly prepared (same day as delivery) vegetarian/vegan** Indian food, made with local***, seasonal and organic ingredients. Getting inspiration from fresh organic, local, regional and seasonal produce is one of my mantras. Another is to connect with the land through adapting to local and seasonal produce. Thus the meals and menu for the week are inspired by seasonal organic veggies, spices, my intuition and the weather. However, a typical meal will include a portion of brown rice/barley/quinoa, vegetable dish, and a daal. The recipes are inspired from culinary wisdom I received in wisdom from mothers and grandmothers adapted through my travelling experience in rural India and other parts of the world. Honest feedback is gratefully received. Please advise me of any dishes that you particularly enjoy and as these can potentially be included in the menu more regularly. I am practicing living lightly on the earth and aspiring towards a zero-waste lifestyle. Hence, I am introducing a sustainable takeaway system, which is inspired by the tiffin system in India. I will be providing the meals in food grade stainless steel takeaway containers. Takeaways (by pre-booking only):

(If you’re interested in buying the stainless steel tiffins, please contact me)
Tiffin Care:
1) Tiffin maintenance: If reheating, kindly don’t put the tiffins directly on stoves or in ovens/a microwave
2) Tiffin cleaning
a. Each Tiffin has individual containers which should be unclipped and separated for washing. After washing and drying, kindly club the containers and clip them back. Tiffins can be washed in dishwashers or by hand. If washing by hand, kindly wash with warm soapy water, followed by rinsing with warm water, then let them dry completely. Please note that food residue can get accumulated in the inner grooves and outer rims of the stainless-steel containers, so kindly check that there is no food residue left in these areas. Please see the video on my page for guidance on how to wash the containers. My other offerings besides weekly takeaways:
1) Bespoke catering for private gatherings/parties for upto 10-15 people (Subject to availability)
2) Coaching for wholesome Indian meal preparations/ concepts which can be tailored as per your requirements
*H’earth: By nourishing ourselves, we nurture our inner fire
**Vegetarian/ Vegan: except occasional use of organic ghee/ Yogurt
***Local ingredients: I source my ingredients carefully to reduce carbon footprint as much as possible, starting in our local area, then going further afield in the UK, then to Europe, and then to other continents. Example, I source fresh organic veggies from local growers/UK/Europe. My legumes are from UK and India; grains from UK/Europe/India. My spices are sourced from Asia in bulk quantities to reduce the environmental impacts of shipping. Sometimes I use nuts and seeds, and carefully consider their origin as well.
