Call out for Community First Responder Volunteers!

We are seeking to create a waiting list of people who are keen to become a Community First Responder (CFR)

CFRs are local volunteers who are notified by NIAS to attend certain life threatening medical emergencies to the local people within our community

Is becoming a CFR something which interests you?

Essential criteria
(1) aged 18+
(2) full driving licence with access to a vehicle
(3) ability to volunteer within a team
(4) availablity to attend a minimum of 2 call-outs
within a 6 month period

If this is a volunteering role which interests you please email an expression of interest EOI to [email protected] including your:

(1) Name
(2) Address
(3) Contact number

These EOI’s are to be submitted no later than 19.00hrs on Saturday 14th Dec 2024. Please note you will get an email to confirm receipt of your EOI. If you do not receive this email confirmation within 1 day after submitting your EOI please resend a follow up email.

Please note successful applicants who have been shortlisted will be invited for an interview on the evenings of either Thurs 23rd or Mon 27th Jan 2025

We will initially have availability to train a small number of new CFRs with NIAS in early 2025. It is anticipated that more initial CFR training will be offered throughout 2025/2026.

Applicants on this list will be held on file for two years and new volunteers will be invited to the initial NIAS training as and when there is availability

Please note all previous EOI are now expired and everyone interested in becoming a CFR will need to send in an EOI email to be included in this process
