Flowery, fruity & festooned with fragrant foliage is this luxurious top table runner at Leah & Lees’ wedding.
Created to look what I call “naturally divine” where the foliage is untamed & textural but the flowers are gorgeous blousy roses amongst other desirable elegant flowers.

A little farewell 2023 from me, Lesley @velvetbroonflowers It’s been a colourful, flower filled year. Here’s to more in 2024. Thank you to all my clients & freelancers & suppliers.

The delivery of the flowers…. Boxes. Wooden crates, old milk crates or useful recyclable cardboard boxes….. I still get nervous presenting the brides bouquet to her. Will she like it? Will it fulfil all her expectation? Have I interpreted her wishes correctly? So far, touch wood I’ve never had to re jig or redo a bouquet. I’ve been lucky enough to be given a brief and trusted to produce a Velvet Broon style version of it. It’s such a pleasure. Anyway, enjoy my little reel of my flowers. “ A Little Chaos” inspired garden arch. If you haven’t seen the film ( with Alan Rickman as Louis IV) It’s all about Versailles! What’s not to love. Anyway, I going off on a tangent. You must watch “A Little Chaos” with Alan Rickman & Kate Winslet. It’s all about the design of the beautiful gardens at The Palace of Versailles. There is a wicker rose garden enclosure, somewhere to find peace & clarity. This was my inspiration for this arch. I could have kept adding more and more flowers but then to re do it for a wedding would have cost a small fortune. So I restrained myself!! Anyways, showcasing pretty pastels and seasonal brights it’s something to think about. Get in touch if you love garden inspired florals or even film inspired!! Link in bio
