Actual proof Head Readman exists!!
A few days back all the fam were on hand in the field and Junior Readman managed to get actual proof (with filming consent) that Head Readman is indeed a worker bee out in the field!
Deputy Readman was of course living his best life on the #davidbrown one from many of many of his tractor collection, mowing away with Junior Readman behind the camera rather than in front!

It’s #biennial planting out on the farm today. Just with all farming and gardening we never stop thinking about NEXT. Next season, next harvest, next year, next crop!
These #sweetwilliams will be totally ignored other than the odd watering if we don’t get any rain and they’ll sit here all winter concentrating on their roots then as soon as the sun comes back they’ll explode into life for next spring…which is handy…because we’ve got just a few weddings in May 2025!

A few weeks back we created this sustainable slightly alternative sheaf for the funeral of a dearly loved lady. All our flowers are grown on the farm. We don’t use oasis or any single use plastics. This sheaf was designed to be able to be broken down into separate arrangements which can be sent home with family members or used to dress the venue for the wake. The whole arrangement can be composted down, giving back to the earth after it’s taken from it.
Making funeral flowers is something which gives us great pride and it’s a real honour and a privilege to be asked to do them. Our style is very loose and organic, you won’t find perfect shapes or straight lines in our work - but then isn’t that fitting to reflect and honour someone at this time?

You may or may not recall that Steve was a bit unsure on the concept of a flower farm when we first decided to start this adventure. And that’s ok. There’s a lot of people out there that are a bit puzzled by it. But it’s honestly quite simple.
We grow flowers. To be cut. By you or by us. To be used in bouquets, arrangements, special events, small moments, huge moments, just because moments.
You can pick your own flowers, order bouquets or arrangements from us. Join our Friday flower club, ask us to help with your wedding. Chose us to celebrate the life of someone dear to you, give our flowers as a gift to lucky recipient. Come to one of our workshops to learn how to create floral art yourself.
