My photography workshops are back again for 2025, with new dates now live and ready to be booked :)

These cover a range of genres, from landscape, to portraiture to street photography, and are a great value way of learning some new skills in a relaxed environment.

The winter lull is a great time to go back and edit some old photos that I've taken during workshops and mentoring sessions, and give them a bit of polish!

I took these of the lovely Ella during a 1-2-1 mentoring session back in December 2023 in a very autumnal Hothfield Common whilst giving some portrait photography tuition.

I started the 2024 wedding season in London, so it's fitting that I also end it in London!

Jennie & Edd were looking for a super relaxed photography style for their wedding back in November. With their church ceremony near Golders Green and the reception in the heart of the city at The Caledonian Club, it really was an epic journey (thankfully we had a lovely vintage bus to take us from A to B!)

It was lovely to spend time with you all, and big thanks to the staff at the reception venue for looking after me.

Phew, this was a big one! in Early October I headed down to Bournemouth on the Dorset coast for Destiny & Aidan's wedding day, held in at The Cumberland Hotel, a delightfully art deco venue overlooking the sea.

While there wasn't much in the way of grounds, we did manage to squeeze in 15 minutes or so down on the beach with just the two of them as the sun was peeking through the clouds!

With 12 hours of coverage and two photographers, this has been a big wedding to edit, but it's so very nearly done.

And that's a wrap on my 2024 weddings with another visit to London yesterday. Funny how my season started and finished with a wedding in the city 😀

My 2025 books are still very much open, with a great video offer too - get either complementary ceremony, speeches, or even both videos depending on your wedding photography package (as long as you haven't booked a videographer)

I know I say this every time I'm in the final stages of editing a wedding, but being restricted to only 80 images for that final round of sneak peeks really is such a struggle!

Ana & Joe, you guys have been super patient while I put my polish on your wedding photos, and to be honest you're probably in line to get one of the highest numbers of photos from a 10 hour day - it's been that hard to trim them down.

Rest assured, it won't be much longer now :) but for now, enjoy a larger selection from the day at The Plough At Leigh last month.

Life's a beach! We only had a few minutes to grab some couples photos down on the sands at Bournemouth, but I love how they came out 😍

With the autumn colours now starting to come in, there's never been a better time to have an engagement session ahead of your spring wedding!

Bernard & JP took advantage of the beautiful colours this time last year, and we had a great time exploring Morden Hall Park in south London before their wedding on the 29th February this year.

Back in October last year I met up with Karishma and Rama for their maternity session around London Bridge on a beautifully sunny day. In fact, more recently, they even booked me for some family photos not long after their daughter was born!

Like a few clients before them, they really wanted to showcase the area in their images, particularly some shots of Tower Bridge, and we had a lovely time exploring the area in the sunshine.

Their maternity session is up on the blog now :)

London Bridge is becoming a bit of a hotspot for me to have portrait sessions, particularly maternity sessions like this one with Karishma & Rama.

Out of office mode activated.

I will be away from the 19th - 24th September inclusive, enjoying a few days rest and relaxation in Lisbon. After my decidedly short break in May, I definitely feel I've earnt this one!

2024 has been super busy, especially the summer, with lots of new creative projects. It's been a great year so far, and the autumn wedding season kicks off soon. It's also my birthday in a few weeks time 🥳

So as I'm going to be away for a few days, I thought I'd share some sneak peeks from Ana & Joe's big day at The Plough At Leigh from earlier this month.

It's been a super hectic August, with lots of family and engagement sessions, commercial work, and of course working through summer wedding editing - including Ronee & Shane's from back in July at Friern Manor...

It's now down to finishing touches this week, and their gallery should be ready to go by the weekend - not long to wait now!

The Plough At Leigh is one of those venues I find myself heading back to time and again, and last September I was there for James & Tash's wedding day!

This was such a fun wedding to photograph, especially as James had a big contingent of guests over from Australia ;)

And, as it happens, nearly a year later to the day, I'm there again in just over a week for Ana & Joe's wedding! Honestly you couldn't make it up!

These two get married in sunny Bournemouth in early October, but for their engagement session I headed down to Salisbury, somewhere very new for me!

They were admittedly a little nervous beforehand, but it wasn't long before the giggles started and they got into the swing of things - which is what engagement sessions are all about - dispelling the nerves in good time before the wedding day.

It's always a joy when my past wedding clients get back in touch to arrange family sessions 🥰

Ishka and Nick got married at The Ravenswood back in the spring of 2022, and earlier this year, Ishka emailed to book a portrait session with their baby daughter. Of course I was delighted, and it was lovely to see them both again, and their new addition to the family.

I've taken a bit of a break from blogging while I catch up with weddings and family sessions this summer, but it's time to look back to a rather damp wedding from last year with Jono & Suzy!

I've been quite fortunate that most of my couples getting married have had good weather on their special days, but sometimes you get that traditionally British summer wedding when it chucks it down for basically the whole day...

Despite this, and thanks to a massive marquee in the grounds of Jono's family home, everyone stayed dry and merry and had a great time, so props to them and their guests for keeping their spirits high.

Another family session, another lot of sneak peeks!

I've known most of this family for years now, and in that time I've had umpteen different sessions with most of them, so it was a real treat to get them all together (and some extras!) for a birthday photoshoot for Beth :)

The sun was shining, so we headed to some nearby fields, before heading back to Beth's cute little cottage to round things off before having a lovely lunch outside - and narrowly missing the rain!
