This week we held our second ever ‘Smartphone free Tuesday’. We were also lucky enough to be joined by ‘Come Read With Owl’ and their pop-up book stall- thank you for coming along!

Do you have children between 8 and 18 and you are looking for something to celebrate the end of another school year? Look no further than the Hyperspace ‘Schools Out, Shoot Off’ event.

Hyperspace is next door to us here at Kidz Planet and is a perfect way to burn off that end of term steam!

If you have been to one of Hyperspace’s ‘Shoot Off’ events before, they have changed the format this time so that you are able to book the most appropriate session for your group (either Primary or Secondary school age).

If you have any questions about which session is best for your group then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

It is with great regret that the ticketed fundraising event on Monday 22nd July has been cancelled. We have received physical threats/abuse if we proceed with this event on that day, which is currently part of a police investigation.
Our first priority will always be the safety of our staff, customers and local community.
Those that have already purchased tickets will be refunded within the next 3 days.
The positive response far outweighs the negative for this “out of hours” event !
We will continue to support the local community by making a monetary contribution to support the Folkestone Pride Team!

At Kidz Planet we are proud to support the diversity within our local community and pride ourselves on our inclusive culture.

We are deeply saddened that we have had to remove our previous post about our upcoming Pride event which will be raising money for Folkestone Pride whilst also being a fun afternoon for the children. We have removed the post due to the hugely negative, discriminatory and rude comments from some of the people within our Folkestone community and beyond.

We hope that the majority of our followers understand the importance of promoting diversity at a ticketed event on a day that Kidz Planet is usually closed- therefore giving people the choice as to whether this matches their morals and whether they would like to attend.

Happy pride month- we will continue to support our local community as best we can.

It's our 21st birthday next week!!!!

To celebrate, we have lots of exciting events on offer... one being our 'Laser Shoot Off'.

For those that love soft play and lasers, why not combine both and come along to this event? The children will be playing in teams, climbing, shooting and sneaking their way around the play area.

Places for this event are strictly limited due to the number of phaser packs available, so booking is essential.

Smartphone free childhood!

Thank you so much to those of you that joined us yesterday for our first ‘Smartphone free Tuesday’ … and for those of you that couldn’t resist the temptation, we hope you enjoyed the forfeits.

Our reason for taking part in this initiative is to give children the opportunity to see their grown-ups spending their time away from a screen- it was really great to see so many parents chatting, laughing and interacting with eachother and their children.

Happy Pride Month!!!

To celebrate, we will be running our very own Pride event in support of Folkestone Pride.

Bring your children along for the event on Monday 22nd July between 3pm and 6pm- we have lots of exciting activities happening alongside our usual soft-play access AND there's even going to be a bake sale too!!!
