The details which make a wedding your wedding.
From flowers that mean something to you being included in your bouquet, to having those same flowers in your hair. From floral details added to your napkins to a cascade of flowers on your cake.
All these little details make your wedding yours & only yours. The nature & s3asonality of flowers means its almost impossible to truly recreate the same wedding twice.
On a dreary February morning, looking forward to warm summer outside ceremonies. When the British flower season is full blast & all the scent from the blooms fill reception rooms.
Buy once....use twice!
These beautiful meadow boxes went from adorning the church to decorating the wedding reception. With their soft, wispy grasses and seasonal blooms, they perfectly complemented this summer wedding.

What a day!
A beautiful September weekend when Emma and Chris shared their special day with all their family and friends.
I was thrilled to be asked to be their florist for their day. A mix of seasonal colours, mixed with a dash of Midsummer Nights Dream inspired the floral decorations for this day.

Using the last of the home grown Dahlias from before the first frosts come, but loads more festive foliage & berries to come from them yet.
I've been lucky enough to have a bit of time, ans a bit of space at the back of my workshop to have some experimentation time...so I made a tree! It's something I've been wanting to do for a while, but not had the time or space.
For us creatives, having a chance to just create is invaluable. You can try new techniques, styles or materials without the pressure of working for a client & really let your imagination go.
So if you have the time or space, have a little experiment, or take yourself off to a workshop where you'll be able to meet & share ideas with other creatives.
As my old tutors at & my mentor always say, a good florist can turn their hand to any style. So if you're normally neat & tidy, have a go at wild & wangy. Or if you're a bit wild and wangy, have a go at something modern. Add to you repertoire, find some new techniques & make some new friends.
P.S. Both & are holding workshops this autumn & winter.
For Chris & Emma who got married at the weekend in the glorious Hampshire sunshine.
The weather stayed just cool enough for the flowers to hold, but warm enough to party the night away in style.
From a Midsummer Nights Dream inspired ceremony room to the seasonal burnt oranges & reds at the reception, it was a florists dream to decorate.
