CHRISTMAS WREATH WORKSHOPS

Really excited to offer a couple dates for wreath making workshops this year and would love for you to come and join me.

In each session, I will show you how to moss a 12-inch wire ring, add seasonal greenery and decorate with things like dried fruit, pine cones, ribbons and more.

All materials provided, though, do bring along your snips if you have some.

When: 6 and 7 December 2024
Time: 10am-12.30pm
Venue: The Three Crowns, Hammerwood Road, Ashurst Wood

These workshops will be in small groups of 6. For larger groups, please get in touch to arrange alternative dates.

DID YOU KNOW? I have a cutting garden!

• I have possibly the smallest cutting garden ever.
• I cram as much as I can into it.
• Last year, I grew over 40 different types of flower including things like from helichrysums, scabiosa, cosmos, dahlias, zinnias, sweet peas, amaranthus, grasses and so much more.
• I keep meaning to promote my cutting garden but never get around to it!
• I use some of the flowers in my wedding arrangements.
• All flower and foliage waste from weddings gets composted here and then is used on the cutting garden beds.
• I just love growing and nurturing flowers. It’s my happy place.

What is your wedding colour theme?

Flowers are a great way to bring together all the different elements of your special day - from the colour of your bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen's suits to your tableware and invitations etc.

For all my couples, I create a bespoke colour palette that I work from when choosing flowers. Here are a few examples of real weddings, some soft and pastel, others bright and colourful - do you have a favourite?
