Spotlight on a customised wedding dress.
I had the pleasure of customising a wedding dress which was made in Brazil.
Hannah the bride to be had sent her measurements and design ideas to Brazil and it was made by a designer,
who is a relative of the groom.
The dress arrived and the fit was amazing, but the design was not exactly to Hannah’s taste.
We removed the lace fabric from the skirt, made the skirt a more fitted shape and took away the loose arm detail which was a bit restricting. These changes made Hannah feel so much happier with her special dress.💕

Thinking of having a dress made but unsure how the process works.
I had the pleasure of making Kate’s dress and her mum took a lot of images during the process?
Once Kate decided on the design of her dress I made a toile from her measurements. The toile is a mock up of your dress in a cotton material. This allows the bride to see her chosen design shape on and changes can be made to get perfect fit and design .
Kate had the opportunity at the toile stage to get the shape of her open back design just as she wanted it. She also couldn’t decide on trim so as you will see from the images she tried them on the dress before it.
This shows the flexibility on having your dress made.
