Today was Ellys last day in the shop as she leaves to become a mummy 🤰 She will be missed but we can’t wait to meet her bundle! She is planning on returning in February after having her baby boy 💙
As we are down to just Helen and I, we are hoping to keep the shops hours the same as they are at the moment. However, on some days there might be some small changes.
I’m sure you will all join us in wishing her all the best 👶

Flower of the week… Cymbidium Orchid.
These beauties that originate in the Himalayan forest represent love, beauty and refinement and come in a variety of colours.
They are £8.95 a stem this week and can last up to 6-7 weeks if looked after properly 🌺🌱

Meet the team ….

Meet Elly, as most of you may be aware Elly is Kay’s daughter. She has worked at Robbie and Nicoll since she was 14 starting off as a Saturday girl and then working part time during her university years.

Elly came out of university with a
1st class degree in interior and environmental design, which has been great for keeping the shop looking fresh and modern. She has a great eye for display and likes to tell us when we are wrong 😂

Elly is nearly 5 months pregnant and will be off from the end of May. However she assures us she will be back!!

Meet Helen, I’m sure a lot of you will recognise her as a familiar face in Robbie and Nicoll as she has been a member of staff for over 25years !!

Helen is hard working and helps us to get through the crazy peak periods as a busy florist shop.

Her experience and knowledge as long standing member of staff is a huge part of keeping things running smoothly.

Helen is a very reliable and a valued employee.

MEET THE TEAM…

We thought it was about time that we introduced ourselves on our socials after all this time! A lot of you will know us already but for those of you who don’t, This is Kay (aka the boss!)

Kay has been working at Robbie and Nicoll for a whopping 37 years and has owned the business for 21 of them. Believe it or not she looks this happy 95% of the time but catch her on a bad day and you’ll know about it!
So if your ever in doubt about anything to do with floristry she’s your woman, if she doesn’t know it then nobody will.
She keeps us all on our toes and the business running the way it does. It simply wouldn’t be the same without her. 🖤
