As we come to the end of season 23 of our Apothecary tour Aliza and I were looking forward to some "us" time during winter. But even though we've done our last event of the year it's still busy, busy here at Dragonfly Creative Arts studios.

Thankfully the temperature has increased a bit since the ice and snow of previous weeks for working in the outbuildings is a bit more pleasant.

Orders flying out and arriving in good time this year (thankyou Royal Mail owl force!). Very busy online on the webshop still (https://dragonflycreatistore.etsy.com) and we are upgrading larger orders to tracked 24 for free to make sure you get them in time for the big day.

I'm currently working on a couple of shield commissions, while aliza packs orders.

Essential workers Willow and Merlin are catching up on their fandoms and fire, respectively. Last nights movie - Dungeons and Dragons! Willow really likes the Tiefling.

Remember to chat to us here or Etsy if you cannot find things you have seen in person at conventions on the webshop. Because things are handmade the stock changes all the time and most never makes it online.

Posting Note for the Etsy shop.

Xmas Postage - The Royal Mail site is currently saying that the cut off for international tracked and traced and standard will be approx the 8th Dec. Obviously many things effect this at both ends of the posting system. Other Royal mail sites say the 13th. Basically international apothecary fans order today or as soon as possible...

UK Customers - Monday the 18th to 20th depending on the type or order will be the latest for our tracked or first class deliveries.

Obviously special deliveries can be arranged at extra cost and please do get in touch if you need that upgrade. I'll try and amend the delivery profiles to include the upgrade when I get a chance.

Inverness! You were amazing!

What a brilliant three days of trading at the wonderful Exclusively Highlands xmas market at Eden Court Theatre.

It was so much fun to bring our magical wares to you, especially trying to fit it into the small stall option for the first time in probably 7 yrs. The delights of a quick packdown..... :)

Thank you to the organisers for such a friendly event, so well run and attended.

Extra special cudos to the best neighbours ever on our little corner of the second floor Woodiesdriftwood..... your first stop for tiny driftwood houses, xmas pengiuns and zillions of seagulls.

Extra, Extra mention for the superb decorations of the postboxes of Nairn on the way home. We just had to stop to take photos.... Look up The Nairn YarnBombers for more photos. Just sooooo good....

Hello Scotland! Our last event of this year the fantastical DECEMBER Eden Court Christmas Market by Exclusively Highlands.

If you can make it we will be there with our travelling (not too far from home for us) Apothecary on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of December!

So if it's xmas shopping, potions for ailments or enemy, adding to your collection of magical animals or objects or just general weirdness you require - head down/up/sideways to find us next weekend!

Beyond ourselves there will be masses of the best crafters and makers Scotland has to offer to browse, the most tasty of foods and drinks and free entry for all!

Yay... we have returned! 3 events, 2000 miles, a zillion potions sold and one Tiger (returned to lair). Epic October is over!

A Massive thankyou to all the lovely customers, old and new we met at MCM London Comic Con, Comic Con Liverpool & Comic Con Scotland. You guys made it all worth it!

A special goodbye to our Water Dragon Droplett. Whom has gone on to a new home to raise money for Aliza's trip up Kilimanjaro for the WWF next year. Always nice to see a Dragon adopted into a new family.....

Our November is Etsy, Etsy, Etsy! (too much Gilmore Girls). Look forward to some never seen before items hitting the online shop. Once we've caught up on some well needed sleep and cat snuggles.

thank you Comic Con Liverpool and Monopoly Events for an amazing weekend of potion selling/ranting/catching up. Got home mid afternoon after another stay in a borders castle with the most amazing beds & showers.

By far the best option to avoid yet more funtime weather driving with temps hitting -7C overnight 20 miles from home up here in the highlands.

Some lovely snow on the mountains. Winter is coming!

I'll leave you until tomorrow with one of our highlights of the weekend. The amazing Violet modelling our new horn/ear combos.

Van (& car) packing day for us here in the Highlands. Trying to fit in all our magical wares from our travelling Apothecary is going to be a challenge.

Especially when we keep making more things to debut at Comic Con Scotland. We might have a potion of packing somewhere..... Tetris potion?

Last minute additions -

"Arcane Shrunken Skulls" - great for Halloween, general magical coolness and looks lovely on the desk or shelf.

"Wooden Bracer" - part of our armour series, great for defence and blending in with the your Treant or Groot pals.

"Premium Hipflasks" - I was going to say holey but you could put blood in it if you want. In multiple colours, the perfect finish to any outfit, cosplay or clubbing.

"Extra Special Travellers Shield" - I really enjoyed making this one.

As ever we will have our ridiculously massive potion ranges (many of which glow in the dark), custom potions on the day, animals for adoption, signs for your house/dungeon/cave/layer and much, much more.

Excited to see you all again (or for the first time) on Saturday!

I love Etsy but it's sometimes frustrating in it's buggy nature. Today's gripe. We seem to have acquired a brooding asian lady as our shared profile picture.

She's obviously considering all the wonderful potions we have online for sale. About to hit the purchase button.....

Edinburgh! We are back once more to my home of 20 odd years (will always be in my heart) with our travelling Apothecary for Comic Con Scotland on the 7th and 8th Oct.

Once again (must be our 10th year of events in the capital) bringing you potions for all occasions, for friend or foe, naughty & nice. You name it, we can kill it or cure it, often in the same bottle!

Beyond our almost infinite (our tame witch can do custom orders for you on the day) range of magical potions we have an ever expanding range of wondrous wares, costume accessories, armour and animals for adoption. So many that I could not even list them and because I don't quite know what we're going to be able to fit in the van for our journey down to the central belt from the Highlands.

So looking forward to seeing you all again.

Hiya! Back from Manchester after an amazing weekend of potion brewing for you all. A massive thankyou to the organisers and customers. You really make all the driving worth it!

Now we're back to making and creating here at Dragonfly Creative Arts studios. Some excellent new products being plotted for the coming autumn and winter shows.
