Today I went out delivering.
I took some flowers to the sweetest old lady on her 93rd birthday.
Bless her she still lives in her own home but took a while to open the door.
Asked me if I wouldn't mind bringing the bouquet inside for her.
I said of course! Then found her a vase, filled it with water and recut & arranged all the flowers for her and read the card message.
She was so grateful and I didn't mind in the slightest.

The point I'm making is , us little businesses go above & beyond for our customers.

Please remember your local florist before you automatically order from a faceless corporate website, or go to the supermarket for flowers.
Neither of them would help your Nanna like that.

It's tough right now, all little businesses need your support , remember us all for Christmas gifts.

Your money pays our wages, school clothes, food, puts fuel in our cars, heats our homes , none of us are rich unlike the CEO's of big brands. You literally pay for their holiday homes.

Our Story

Our story began in 1956 the year I was born and the year my parents bought a farm and turned it into a nursery, garden centre and florist shop called Rondeg Nurseries. My father had a passion for horticulture passed down through generations and worked tirelessly on the land and in acres of greenhouses growing plants to sell and as a landscape gardener designing and creating gardens locally. When Eddisbury Square was being built in Frodsham my father chose a shop in the perfect location for a Florist as it was protected from the sun and was naturally cold even on the hottest day. The Flower Shop Frodsham was born and continued to serve the local community with fresh flowers for all occasions for many years .We came back to our “roots” in Helsby in 2011 with more space at a converted nursery (childrens nursery this time !) and Acer Florist Cheshire was born. We continue to provide our local community with beautiful floristry for all occasions specialising in Wedding flowers and venue dressing and Funeral flowers. We have fresh flower deliveries daily from our many trusted suppliers and have a fantastic selection for you to choose from .We deliver all over Cheshire, nationally and internationally via our fellow trusted professional florists.
