🦊✨Foxes really are nature’s little sound detectives!✨🦊

Their ears are so finely tuned that they can pick up a watch ticking from about 36 meters away—and that’s not all. These clever creatures can even hear the faint rumble of rodents busy digging underground.

This impressive low‐frequency hearing is thanks to their specialized ear structure, which allows them to swivel and zero in on the tiniest sounds. It’s one of the many adaptations that make foxes such skillful hunters, able to detect prey hidden beneath layers of earth or snow. Researchers have confirmed these abilities in several studies, so the claim isn’t just a tall tale—it’s backed by science!
