As the inaugural Great North Decorative Antique Fair draws to a close we must say what a great weekend we have had, so many pieces big and small carried out by very happy customers. We've had everything this weekend from a £5 paperweight to a £10,000 Lowry piece of art. We will definitely be back at Newcastle Racecourse next year to put this great show on again. We will keep you posted about the dates. Thank you to all our phenomenal dealers who stood with us, all the public who support us and of course all the team at Durham Promotions NE who made it with us.

In the blink of an eye it's here, day 1 of the Great North Decorative Antique Fair is off to a very brisk start. There's some truly incredible items here for sale this weekend. We're here all day until 5 then back on Saturday at 9am

We're delighted that we were selected for a feature in this week's Antique Trade Gazette, a huge thank you to Joan Porter for all the work you done putting the article together you done a great job. The Great North Decorative Antique Fair is on at Newcastle Racecourse High Gosforth Park this Saturday and Sunday the 24th and 25th August with a 9am start we look forward to seeing you all there.

It's almost here set up day at the Great North Decorative Antique Fair has been a blast, the dealers have really pulled out all the stops for the event for the weekend I am one very happy and proud promoter. Just a quick reminder not that it's needed but next weekend (24th and 25th) sees the launch of the Great North Decorative Antique Fair a much anticipated event. Reaction has been overwhelming and we're expecting a great turn out from the public in support of all our incredible dealers who will be travelling the length and breadth of the country to join us. The reason we chose Newcastle Racecourse at High Gosforth Park was for it's incredible location just quarter of a mile off the A1, 3 mile drive off the A19, Newcastle central station as well as Newcastle international airport a matter of 5 minutes away everything really is on hand. Add to that thousands of free parking spaces at the venue this really is a premier location for a premier event.

Barely 4 weeks to go before the inaugural Great North Decorative Antique Fair. We are another site visit to Newcastle Racecourse over the weekend to do some planning and the venue is looking absolutely magnificent and will prove to be the premier location for the event in the north east. Anyone wanting to join us as a seller there's still time to book up.

Another successful and fabulous Wolsingham Antique and Salvage Fair this past weekend. A couple of dealers recorded record breaking takings. Everyone from the dealers to the public and the Bargain Hunt team all very satisfied. Looking forward to seeing you all again in September
